NYK waive Ivan Rabb from his 2 way contract and sign Kenny Wooten to a 2 way. Smart.
Good

Wooten is intriguing. Now deal Morris to Philly for Pelle and OKC's pick (it's top 20 protected).
Pelle is more desirable

than Zhaire Smith already?

I

don't believe the Sixers are going to move Zhaire Smith for a rental of Marcus Morris.
Very fair,
Really : 1/13/2020 5:36 pm : link
who are other young guys like Pelle that are attainable?
I would’ve waived Allen instead of Rabb

I do think that the Sixers would be willing to move Smith for Morris but they love Pelle they are trying to clear a spot on the roster to sign him to a guaranteed contract
Seems more likely that the Sixers trade Smith than Pelle to me

What is Smith good at, really?
Smith's scouting report
Pep22 : 1/14/2020 8:25 am : link
read somewhat like Russell Westbrook's coming out of UCLA. Great NBA body (length, frame to add muscle), tremendous athlete. Should be a defensive stud. Can get to the rim. Uncertainty re: jump shot and play-making ability.

But obviously the rookie season injury and lack of productivity isn't putting him on a RW path to this point.

Sounds like Dennis Smith Jr. honestly.

DSJ just doesn't understand the game. His effort is that of a prima-donna. His hoops IQ and skill level are inadequate. He doesn't play the game fast or aggressive enough to employ his athleticism. He is probably teetering on not being in the league in the next 12-18 months.
