I’m a Leafs fan and I keep reading rumors that my boys may acquire Georgiev from the Rangers. I would love to have him, 23 years old....In my opinion, he is better than Hank, who is 37.
So, my question is simple...do,you see this trade happening? And why would your boys trade a Promising 23 year old and keeping an old declining geezer? Thanks

Panarin for kicking us isles fans in the balls 1 more time. Earth to Lou, you gonna do anything? You got a guy tearing it up in AHL by the name of bellows, would be nice to see him over the trash thats leo, ross and dal colle
That's about the same as Jagr's from his 123 point season that set the Rangers' single season scoring record. I knew he was good, but I didn't know he was THAT good.
is currently on pace for 122 points, which is 1 behind Jagr's franchise single season record of 123 in 05-06. I knew he was good, but I don't think anyone thought he was going to be this good. He is a legitimate Hart candidate, and if the Rangers make the playoffs, I believe he will win it. Fox likely won't win the Calder (Makar's name is probably already engraved on the trophy), but he could be a finalist.
I love and hate Kreider at the same time too. He's one of my favorite all-time Rangers, but if he played every game the way he played last night, he would be a perennial all-star. In fact, the past 10 games or so, he's been unbelievable. But then he'll disappear for 15-20 games. He's just never put it all together. That said, he has a skill set and physical attributes that you can't replace, and I would side with signing him to an extension. It's also getting harder and harder to make a decision on Tony. He's a liability in his own end, but man, it's hard to come by defensemen who can put up 65-70 points, which is the pace Tony is on right now. If they are going to keep one or both Tony/Kreider, they're going to have to buy out Staal, Smith, or Henrik after this season.

At some point Lou will have to make a move to get a true scorer on this team. Team structure is significant, but that is only taking you so far. Guys like Dal Colle, Komorov and Kuhnackl are great role players, but we already have a fourth line and these guys simply can’t help in the offensive zone at all.
Trots is a fantastic coach and I trust him immensely, but he won a cup with Backstrom and Ovechkin. He isn’t going to win one where those roles are played by Barzal and Nelson.
in any way, but some of his goals have been insane they way they've found tiny openings between the keeper's arms/legs and post, or rattled around the five hole before crossing the line. He's a wizard, to be sure, but there has been some puck luck, which probably balances out.
is about as frustrating a Ranger player I've ever seen. And I'm not comparing him in this regard to an underperforming Shatt, or poor Staals and DGs. I get so bent out of shape by his mindless, careless, and way to frequent giveaways in his own end. I want him OFF the team, and then he ignites in the offensive end and in the PP.
His =/- is +4 (I think that includes last night), so you can't become too blinded by his offensive prowess or overvalue him in FA any more than the almost equally frustrating Kreider.
But his career s% is 15.3, so it's not as if it's crazy high by his standards right now. He's just got an incredible shot.
Career is 14.8% (15.3 is just with CHI). He's at 18.4% now, some regressions should be expected.
Still feel like trading Panarin (for Saad) and Teravainen (to dump Bickell's contract) should have been firable for Bowman. Winning cups gets you some leeway, but shouldn't be that much.
Just
Wow.
Now 2 goals
Two goals now
Shit effort tonight. Two more vs NYR coming up so hopefully they play better.
Fuck Panarin. He’s really, really good, but fuck him anyway.

Georgiev and other trade rumors ( and Devils stuff thrown in) - ( New Window )
Just an unbelievable season for the Breadman.
Then you look at the standings and you can't help but feel disappointed.
It is frustrating that the team is just so damn inconsistent. They played a complete game yesterday but can't seem to do that night in and night out.

Haha!!! Great minds, my friend.
