kid. Easy to root for. Nice find.
Key statements by Cruz ...

Learn, study, respect the opponent, depend on other receivers to keep defenses from double-teaming you.

Are you listening Dave Gettleman, Darius needs a Big-time WR (not another JAG - OK guy) on the other side of the field, for him to realize his full potential.
My goodness how can you not like that kid

He seems solid and level headed. So glad he’s a Giant.
Love Slayton

A guy I'd love to pair him up with: Denzel Mims from Baylor. This guy is flying under the radar it seems. In fact I think we can get him as late as the 6th round (just as we did Slayton). This guy is 6'3" 220 lbs and is a former track star in high school I believe. Flat-out playmaker with a big frame and long strides, looks very smooth and natural running routes and catching the ball. Reminds me a lot of Josh Gordon (on the field that is, not off).
What a weapon this guy would be for DJ! - ( New Window )

Mims also seems to have a wide catch radius, does a great job of using his hands and catching the ball away from his body. Seems to also do a nice job of using his size to box out defenders and win jump balls.

And a even a touch of humility goes a long, long way.

These are the type of posts that make BBI so worthwhile. Thanks!
Liked the questions he asked Vic

How'd you game plan, once you became the #1 Target?
Agreed

Then the answer provided. Would be helpful to Slayton if he took to studying how to negate a double team. Coach (new WR, Pass Coord & OC) Coach, I'm seeing this and then follow up on how he would proceed to defeat that double team "with his skill set". Play to a strength of his.

Hopefully this kid can avoid the WR curse of the NYG...

Amani Toomer seems to be the only one successful at that in the last 15+ years.
