We'd be getting a huge boost to this staff IMO.

He's played and learned under the best of the best and hearing him on WFAN talk D it's clear he knows his stuff and seems to have an attention to detail and teaching that Judge is high on.

He often fools around with fans when they ask him organizational questions

For instance, when Coughlin (maybe McAdoo) got fired, fans were asking him about being the HC, and he responded with similar messages. He seems to have a little fun, at the fans expense, at times

I am ok with it. Don't mind him on weekly shows but not the best radio guy.

He was by far the best player on the field in Super Bowl 21. Including Phil. He was absolutely BRILLIANT in that game HOF level.

He is also the prototype OLB at covering a TE. He was the the best OLB I have ever seen at it. Probably didn't hurt going against Bavaro in practice everyday. Banks & Bavaro were HOF players if they stayed healthy a little longer.

So That's all I see and hear whenever his name comes up.

If there is anyone on earth qualified to discuss and diagnose the nightmare the Giants LBs have been the past few years it's him. I hope his "announcement" no matter who makes it starts to turn the LBs around. Long overdue.
