On the drive home I was listening to moving the chains and they mentioned how the HOF didn’t expand the number of inductees even after the league expanded to 32 teams. The argument being that there must be more stars due to expansion (debatable).
However that made me wonder are Super Bowl victories post expansion more impressive than when the league had 28 teams or fewer? I’m kind of split because I think it ultimately comes down to how you value the extra 212 players in the league, or if it is truly much more difficult to make the playoffs.
