I believe he can be a franchise QB. The Panthers, Patriots, Jaguar and possibly San Diego, Oakland and Miami may consider acquiring him. What this means is he could possibly impact one team to not move up. My belief is the Panthers would be ideal. He played for New Orleans in the same division. The Panthers got to know him and his skills quite well. He gives them mobility and accuracy. And it appears he is now healthy. If this happens then Tua and Hebert are in play from #2 to #4. Giants should be getting lots of calls.
He's 27. Played great the 5 games Brees was out. I'd think he wants to start.
I don't know enough about Rhule to know if Bridgewater would be a fit for this offense, but I would be surprised if he's a Panther next season.
Newton will likely be traded or cut so a vet QB could be brought in - or the Panthers may try to get to the top of the draft to get a QB and have that QB tied to Rhule's tenure as coach. That's a much more likely option in my opinion, especially with Luke retiring, Olsen retiring and a rebuild that will happen.

Newton to New England, Las Vegas, Miami (while Tua backs up and heals more), Skins (you never know with Snyder), LAC (If no Brady) and maybe if released New Orleans- if Brees retires.
I think Bridgewater is a better fit for a team looking to draft a young QB and have him learn for a while. Bridgewater can run most offenses and would likely not force that team to play their top pick until he was ready and they had a decent team around him. But is he the kind of guy you build a team around? I don’t think so.
Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers could go to one of those teams. Heck Lions could trade Stafford and draft one of the young guys themselves. Oh and don't forget Eli!
Also, someone might believe in Cam Newton, Marcus Mariota, or Winston. What if Titans can't get Ryan Tannehill signed? What if Cowboys decided to pick up any of the guys mentioned above and let Dak go in FA.
Lots of if's.
I would think that solution isn't even being discussed. In a case like that, they'd rather just develop a QB drafted this year. Even if they are looking to 2021 for a QB, they would make a different choice.
Bridgewater would be good for a team that has aspirations to compete next year.
He can be a winning QB on a good team as evidenced by his play with New Orleans.
There are other Qbs such as Mariotta, Winston, and Newton who may be available. I would consider them in the category as Brigewater.
Joe Brady might like him from his stint in New Orleans.
I could see CAR trading up with Cincy for a kings ransom to get Burrow matched back up with Brady.

I can see Carolina wanting to trade up for Burrow, but I think this is one of those times when the people who think "you can always trade up for a QB" are wrong.
Cincy desperately needs a QB and Burrow is a Heisman Trophy winning, record setting, national champion... and he's from Ohio. Cincy is not going to pass on Burrow no matter what kind of draft ransome they're offered.
I’ll never understand the hoopla over this guy. He’s a jag. He’s not terrible never been terrible but he’s never ever ever displayed elite QB traits. He broke his leg in 100 pieces and was a good dude before and after the injury so I get why people root for him, but to be he’s not even Casey keenum.
Any qb worth a wet shit would play OK in the saints system. And that’s what bridgewter did there. He held the fort for a month or so.
This. Bridgewater isn't stopping any team from doing what they feel they need to do to acquire one of Burrows, Tua, or Herbert.
I don't know enough about the QBs one tier down, or even if the NFL sees those 3 as all +/- "top tier."
But IMO for now, until we have more info, that's the way this draft will likely shake out. Bridgewater's availability doesn't alter that at all.
I could see Tepper's desire to do this and get the fan base all pumped about the possibilities. But I think it won't happen for two reasons - 1) They would likely need to trade their entire draft to get that pick from Cincy; and 2) There is a lot of love for Cam Newton in Charlotte. Violently throwing him aside will churn up quite a bit of controversy.

I didn't mean it would happen, just that I could see it happening if CAR comes with the right offer. Which could be Ricky Williams Herschel Walker-esque.
