I'm not saying this is 100% accurate, but this person, whoever they are, has put out accurate info in the past. They tweeted out 24 hours in advance that Beltran would be stepping down, they tweeted out 4 days before his hiring that he would be the next Mets GM as well. This thing about the buzzers for Altuve and Bregman has also been confirmed, in a way, by Bauer and Jomboy who both said they have heard the same thing from multiple people.

I 100% do not want this to be true, but with everything coming out, I don't think it can be completely discounted.

I'll say again though, with the amount of breaking balls they swung at out of the zone, I would have to question the authenticity of this particular claim.

They embraced gambling in 11/2018. I am inclined to think that's the reason they're reluctant to chase the buzzer story, because it would have directly impacted postseason play in 2019.

Commissioner report said there wasn’t cheating in 2019, which we know is BS. They are trying to contain this and play is fans for stupid. This is going to lead to MLB and the Union coming to odds. The fans are going expect the players to be punished. Only way to make them at happen is not show up or buy merchandise. We know Astros fans will still show up as they are the ones who benefited. The Sox fans will stop showing up, because the team will suck. Will Yankee, Mets, Dodgers, etc??? That would be the only way to make MLB do something to the players.

Who dabbled in some FO and prospect stuff. That was his role in the org. And he may very well have given them a heads up, and Maybin may have too. That would explain why they were so animated about it. Could they have been cheating in ways small or large? Absolutely. But typically if you know you're doing something wrong you're not going to jump up and down and ppin5 the finger at someone else for doing the same thing. The homeruns were clearly a product of a juiced ball first and foremost, that's not particularly relevant.

players, how do they decide whom to punish, whoever caught on camera banging on the trash can? And how many games? 1 game suspension for hitting a 2B after a bang or whistle and 5 games for a HR? There is simply no way to enforce it, that's probably why they aren't doing it.

And anybody with two eyes could see that the Yanks were all guessing and missing during the playoffs, maybe only Gardner, DJ and Gleyber (for the first few games) were putting up good AB's. Sanchez, EE, Stanton, and to an extent Judge all looked like they were hitting blind-folded.

Most Red Sox all took a step back in 2019, it will be interesting to see how they and the Astros players hit in 2020. Honestly I don't think you'll see a huge drop-off.

Its team strikeout % that does. The 3 years prior to 2017 the Astros were 27 29 and 29 in MLB. The past 3 seasons they are top 2 every season. Come on of course you can make organizational changes in philosophy but there is no way you go from last to first over night in a stat like that without some artificial help.
