I don't have twitter so I can't link, and I know this is not his actual niece, but my cousin just sent me a screen shot with that account stating "Just make sure they check Gleyber next year left leg Yankees use two video guys hide one in Bullpen with live feed"
I'm a Yankee fan, so I hope this isn't true, but if it is, do whatever's needed to clean this crap up in my opinion.
With their propensity for swinging at breaking balls out of the zone, I'm not thinking it's true, but who the hell knows at this point. This account has been accurate on things so far...
I have the screenshot still, but not sure how to post that here from my phone?

I 100% do not want this to be true, but with everything coming out, I don't think it can be completely discounted.
I'll say again though, with the amount of breaking balls they swung at out of the zone, I would have to question the authenticity of this particular claim.
Seriously though, if the Yankees were cheating Gary must SUCK at it.
probably should get hearing aids for sanchez, he must have misheard how many bangs lol
But does the Torres situation make sense? Why are his numbers worse when nobody is on base? When runners are on and in scoring position (2and base) then pitchers/catchers switch up the signs. Wouldn't it be harder to pick up then?
Jomboy. Sorry the Beltran Niece account isn’t fake, but did correctly call out the Altuve buzzer before it broke.
I swear I heard variations of the above line of whine from half the people I know in Houston last week. And the other 50% were transplanted LSU fans preparing for the big game. Now they probably are talking about how all the pro players give cash to players from their alma mater

This is the kind of black eye that can generate a 15% drop in attendance ( like the damage the strike caused for a few years)
Wern't Beltran's pretty similar in 2017?

were within .001 of each other, so unless he had a buzzer at Camden chalk it up as unlikely.

Beltran's stats were shitty everywhere, but there was a .053 advantage at home so it wasn't negligible.

They embraced gambling in 11/2018. I am inclined to think that's the reason they're reluctant to chase the buzzer story, because it would have directly impacted postseason play in 2019.
Commissioner report said there wasn’t cheating in 2019, which we know is BS. They are trying to contain this and play is fans for stupid. This is going to lead to MLB and the Union coming to odds. The fans are going expect the players to be punished. Only way to make them at happen is not show up or buy merchandise. We know Astros fans will still show up as they are the ones who benefited. The Sox fans will stop showing up, because the team will suck. Will Yankee, Mets, Dodgers, etc??? That would be the only way to make MLB do something to the players.
I mean the Twins and the Yankees BOTH broke the season HR record. there was some shit going on this season.....
You can't tell me Beltran was an 'advisor' to the Yankees and didn't clue them into what was going on...if they didn't know already.
I'm a diehard Yankees fan, but I know that they will be implicated down the line and so will other teams.
Its like PEDs in Football. Nobody is acknowlding that a huge portion of the league is taking some substance or another. Hell, these are individuals who have livelihoods at stake, very HEALTHY livelihoods. Why WOULDN'T you do everthing possible to make yourself successful?
Yep.
Like with the PEDs, MLB really doesn't do an excellent job of policing its sanctioned cheating. I don't accept for a second that there was any question that technology has been misused to give teams an advantage. As a fan, I shouldn't have to find out about it. Handle your own shit better Mr. Manfred.
And anybody with two eyes could see that the Yanks were all guessing and missing during the playoffs, maybe only Gardner, DJ and Gleyber (for the first few games) were putting up good AB's. Sanchez, EE, Stanton, and to an extent Judge all looked like they were hitting blind-folded.
Most Red Sox all took a step back in 2019, it will be interesting to see how they and the Astros players hit in 2020. Honestly I don't think you'll see a huge drop-off.
Sheffield's son started that but it sure looks like it was Incarcerated Bob
