More help than any other RT in the league? Prove it. What does that make our RT then?
position now with the potential of Eli not being here and the fact that DJ is not superhuman, like Eli. also that back up QB works closely with DJ, as well. I don’t see Tanney as that guy. If Fitz or Keenum are available as FAs I would want one of them to sit behind DJ.
To fill in free agency. After re-signing Leo Williams I am hoping for some of these players.
1. DE Yannick Ngakoue
2. OT Jack Conklin
3. C Connor McGovern
4. FS Justin Simmons
But this year it's different. Yannick Ngakoue, 24 years old, and Jack Conklin, 26 years old, should be the main targets. Daniel Jones will be paid well below market value for the next 4 years allowing the Giants to spend big on other areas as Seattle did during Wilson's first three seasons and Philly during Wentz's.
Germain Ifedi instead of Conklin? He is 25 years old, has slightly better advanced stats, and no injury history like Conklin. Ifedi missed one game in the past three seasons.
BTW, I've read multiple fan articles about teams looking to upgrade their OL and Mike Remmers is listed as an option. I guess they didn't watch him this season.
Kyle Van Noy, LB - Very versatile, he is a decent pass rusher, but can also play the run and drop into coverage. I think he'll likely get a manageable contract, something like $12m per year.
Anthony Harris, S - Best FA safety on the market, imo. He is also very versatile and can play all over the field. He will likely get a manageable contract, something like $10m per year.
Cory Littleton, LB - One of the best coverage linebackers in the game. Decent against the run. He could be pricey though, something like $14m per year.
Kyle Fuller, CB - Had a bad year, but was a top slot CB beforehand. Slot CB is a big need. No idea what type of contract he'll get.
Jack Conklin, OT - He is a beast in the run game. I think he'll cost $20m per year, which is tough to fit.

I would then want Isaiah Simmons in round 1.
I like your thinking but I would substitute Littleton fron Conklin and take two of the top 6 OTs in the draft. Ideally a trade down. I really like the idea of a vet Safety ILB and Center. Those positions take time to learn.
A second tier guy Id really like is Bears LB Nick Kwiatkowski Â
Hes not going to get the media attention (or the contract) of a guy like Schobert or Littleton but he's an ascending player. Stepped in for Danny Trevathan and started the final 7 games of the season. In those games he posted 61 tackles, 2 sacks, and a pick. He's a starter who wont break the bank and he'd fit nicely next to Connelly.
something needs to be done with this miserable offense, to score more points. Just make the defense average and that is a good start. Something to heed that Saban has mentioned at the college level.
"
When you’re a defensive-minded coach and you’ve grown up running the ball, being conservative, and playing defense to win games, the game changed. RPOs came and everybody spread it out. The game changed, and if you don’t join that crowd, you’re never going to be able to make enough explosive plays in a game and score enough points. That’s what they did this year.” referring to LSU and also Bama 3-4 seasons ago with a heavy run attack.

Brian Poole - Slot CB
All good medium free agent signings...
Marcus Golden
Jack Conklin or Daryl Williams
Think we'll address OLB/Edge in the draft
