Just go to the on demand section and you can buy it there.
I ordered it

but with the cost going back up to $65 and the cards just not being as stacked as the cost should warrant, I'm drifting away from their PPV model.

Why the hell does “Cowboy” have an aluminum can in his hand while they announce the winner? Do these fighters really need to whore themselves out for money?
Fight ended in 40 seconds

I'm quite glad I did not order it. Literally people just paid almost $2 per second to watch that fight.

Ha. Seriously though, you have to be a real sucker to fork over that kind of money for this shit. I feel the same way about cable in general but to each their own I guess.

He had zero damage, Cowboy did not throw one punch or kick. It looked like all he wanted was a payday

I think Cowboy was surprised & caught off guard with his nose getting smashed...I mean after that he probably thought, well at least there's still the payday
Is it me, or does it not seem like UFC is one sport
Leg of Theismann : 1/19/2020 1:34 am : link
where the possibility for rigging/fixing is more likely than most other sports? I have no idea if that's the case here, I'm just saying: McGregor being back in the spotlight of the sport and having come out of this fight unscathed and ready to fight again rather soon seems pretty ideal from a profitability standpoint. And if I'm Cowboy and I make more $ for taking a fall, clearly would rather just get it over with in 40 seconds rather than take multiple rounds of a beating.

I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around a fighter like Cowboy getting knocked out so easily, especially with McGregor having been out of the sport and only started training seriously 2 months ago.

I really don't want to look like the guy with the tin foil hat over here, I'm legitimately asking people's opinion on what you think the chances are of UFC fights being rigged. I'll admit I'm not a major fan of the sport, this is purely an outsider's perspective.
possibility of some* UFC fights being rigged
Leg of Theismann : 1/19/2020 1:37 am : link
I'm not sitting over here trying to imply it's like WWE wrestling or something of the like. Although all the pomp and hoopla and hype and shit-talking surrounding these big fights does remind me of WWE (moreso than boxing I'm saying) which may be what led my mind down this road.

Cowboy's payday for the fight was 200K. if he won he got another 200K

McGregor got 30M win or lose
No doubt additional money to Cowboy

Cerrone was TKOd in the 1st round of his last fight and has lost 3 in a row.

Mcgregor KOd Aldo in less time and hits hard. Its MMA, theyre wearing 4 oz gloves....fights are gonna end quick sometimes.

See yeah wow, and the money that the sport stands to make from McGregor winning and hence being back "on top" (and I'm not just talking about the money made tonight) and ready to fight again soon... you'd think it's maybe *just* a little bit more than the additional $200K they'd have to payout for a Cowboy win?

My point being of course that it's a LOT more, and meaning like in the millions upon millions. McGregor is far and away the most marketable fighter in UFC, especially when he's at his best. It's when I see there's a glaring difference in potential profitability like that that makes me think a little deeper about what happened tonight.

That is a great point. Fights will end quick sometimes due to the nature of the sport, no doubt.

Also I believe Cerrone said he himself was going to go for the knockout early (not sure why he would have telegraphed his intentions pre-fight but whatever), so if you have both fighters coming out ultra-aggressive and ready to end the fight quickly then I guess it's bound to end quickly.
CM is just a natural fighter
Vanzetti : 1/19/2020 2:59 am : link
He just has the instinct

Hitting Cowboy with the shoulder— that’s not something you plan, it just comes up

And after taking a couple of shoulder shots to the head, Cowboy was woozy and that left him vulnerable to the kick in the jaw
Anyone who knows anything about Ceronne
bhill410 : 1/19/2020 3:13 am : link
Knows he would never accept a rigged fight. The guy is a pure Adrenalin junkie and an all time great fighter to watch albeit not necessarily an all time great fighter. He is usually great for making great fights not necessarily winning them which is why he was a perfect opponent for CM. CM is a really tough act to book now, he was on a mini losing streak but has a massive contract with UFC. You don’t know how interested he is in fighting anymore but he is still very marketable. More importantly is you can’t not have him headline and since he wasn’t in a position to fight kahbib again the UFC was in a weird place. After today’s result could maybe get him in cage in May as a winner gets Tony/Khabib shot at belt. Maybe someone like Max who would probably have trouble with CM’s size. Imo CM can’t keep messing around at 170 however the 155 division is just so stacked.
Suckers
XBRONX : 1/19/2020 7:14 am : link
paid for that? Cerrone lost his last 2 by TKO and six out of his last 10. Was there any doubt about the final result?
Didn’t see anything rigged about it
mfsd : 1/19/2020 8:02 am : link
Conor broke his nose with a shoulder about 10 seconds in. Cowboy tried to keep his feet and fight, but once Conor caught him flush with a kick it was over.

Simply one of those “everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face” fights
McGregor

Was beating Mayweather after 5 rounds in thier fight, being able to beat one of the greatest fighters ever the first 5 rounds tells you a lot about how good he is.

I like Conor, and he’s a hell of a fighter, but Mayweather carried him through their fight. He could have won earlier if we’re being honest. Now put them in the Octagon and Conor wins easily, but not in a boxing ring. Mayweather played with him to give the fans their money’s worth.
McGregor
Archer : 1/19/2020 10:35 am : link
McGregor was amazing

His strategy brilliant
He set the Cowboy up

Tying his arms up and using brutal shoulder strikes
Breaks Cerrone’s nose

I have never seen shoulder strikes used that effectively

You can see Cerrone eyes go up and then Connor crushes him with a round house kick

When sober Connor is a unique fighter

What makes this all the more impressive is that Connor was 170 and Cerrone 185
Shoulder strikes
Archer : 1/19/2020 10:41 am : link
I think that the shoulder strikes were planned
Connor set them up from the beginning

He saw something prior to the fight
McGregor ties Cerrone’s arms and slightly pulls him forward then he steps through and rotates hitting with his shoulder

This was planned and practiced

Maybe the saying will change now to "until they get 3 shoulder blows to the face"
