AFC Championship Game: Titans at Chiefs

Would like to see Andy Reid win the big one!

Henry has been very fun to watch, best offensive player of the playoffs so far IMO.

Go Chiefs!

...but the Titans remind me of a rag-tag group in 2007 that got hot and chewed up the rest of the field.

The Titans look like they’re designed to beat a team like the Chiefs. And Chris Jones is dinged up, to make that matchup even worse.

But then you have Mahomes on the other team and they are heavily favored.

This looks to be a classic.

In 04, I slowly became a Chiefs fan. After going to home opener last year, became a big fan. (Until they play Giants.). Go Chiefs!

But Andy Reid usually finds a way to lose this game.

It's like Andy Reid's vision of football, versus Vince Lombardi's.

Spags, to me, is the key to this one more than Reid. What does he do to stop Henry? What CAN he do to stop Henry?

Cuz if Henry (and the Titans' OL) rolls, KC's offense and Mahomes doesn't get to see the field that often. Vrabel channeling BB channelling the Tuna.

The Titans have had a nice underdog story so far with a cast off QB at the helm but my gut feeling all week has been that the Chiefs are going to blow them out of the water 41-17 or similar

In how they love the underdog role and feed on it. If they can limit KC's drives they have a real chance here. Running Henrey can do this

Henry was tackled for a minimal gain and the Ravens defenders were all fired up and clapping after the play. As far as I could tell that was the last play they seem to enthusiastic about tackling the beast that is Derrick Henry. So, Chris Jones and the KC defense might have a similar experience today. Henry is a punishing back and every yard and hit be delivers is small but demoralizing defeat for the defense. And of course a ground and pound game keeps the great Mahomes on the sideline.

Agree this one has all the makings of a classic. I’m rooting for the Titans all the way. Love the smash mouth smarty pants with a lunch pail personality that Vrabel has crafted for his Titans . It’s a tall task for the Titans defense, there’s just so much firepower on the Chefs offense but if the Titans can keep it close, this game may come down to an Andy Reid sideline fumble.

Mahomes on the other. Ought to be worthy contest.

Head says KC wins and does so in impressive fashion

ready to play, from last's weeks getting down by 28pts earlier makes me wonder more. If he falters, not so sure Mahomes will come racing back like he did last week.

Chiefs should win if they play offense well today, as they have too much firepower.

If hes ok, this could be the difference.

Love this matchup. Tannehill is going to have to step up here. Just a few big plays are needed to TE Smith and some of the WRs.

Corey Davis? Is it your time to show up this season?

Henry makes Tannehill so much better. Play action works so well because of how hard Henry runs. A punishing, downhill runner.
