hope he gets another crack at a ring. Also would make the McCarthy thing a whole lot funnier.
I dont see it though, SF line is too much. Rodgers needs to play the game of his life and they need to force Garoppolo to pass downfield into mistakes.
dilemma. I cant stand Rodgers either and always root for him to lose. But, as a Giants fan, rooting for the Niners is usually a no go too.
Can't stand Rodgers though, he is my NFL Super Villain. Keeps me interested especially when the Giants stink to root against teams/players. Childish I know, but it seems others on this thread share the sentiment.
I have a friend who is a huge Niners fan, but a Green Bay winning would be big because this was a team that severely underachieved with Mike McCarthy as head coach and would love to stick it in the face of Dallas fans if Green Bay was to make the Super Bowl as soon as they canned him.
I hate the 49ers almost as much as the other NFC East.
I've always felt that Rodgers was the evolutionary Elway and now with a running-based team, it feels similar to the Denver run to beat GB in Elway's first Super Bowl.
SF is a big favorite - they are better in almost every aspect. But with both teams running the ball as much as they do, there won't be that many possessions. And I trust Rodgers a heck of a lot more than Jimmy G.
Dont get the Rodgers haters. Yeah, hes a weirdo off the field but hes the very definition of a generational talent.
I like the Packers organization as much as any other than the Giants and usually root for them to win. And come on guys, the Niners are probably our most hated non-division rival. What other team has had most heartache and hatred and great victories and defeat with the Giants than the Niners? That hatred and history is not there for me for the Packers, kind of the opposite actually really like the Pack fans and history (some former Giants coach named Lombardi was there foe a while right?).
I also think the Niners have a bit of a glass jaw. If the Pack can get up early, and Im not sure they can, I dont see Jimmy G picking up the team and winning against a fairly stout Pack defense.

Most, if not all of us CONCEDE that Rodgers is a generational talent. That said, we have the right to dislike him as an individual and root against him for that very reason.

Of course my big blue brother, you can root for or against anyone and anything. Did not intend to offend. And pulling for the Niners, or any against the Pack, or Rodgers or whatever isnt like rooting for the Iggles to win the Super Bowl.
Im only saying that, yeah Rodgers is a weird dude off the field, mostly with stuff relating to his family and relationships, but hes not some kind of domestic violence dirtbag or a gangbanger or something. Hes obviously going to the HoF and this would be a huge page in his storybook career. And the Packers have a certain kinship with the Giants unlike any other NFL team. Also, Rodgers has had some big moments that I appreciate As a Giants fan. Beating Dak and the Pokes in the playoffs a couple years ago is one that jumps to my mind. So, I guess Im a bit of a Packers fan.

Not sure how that read, but you didnt offend me at all..👍🏿👍
That's a lot of points to be giving an Aaron Rodgers led team. I could easily see the 49'ers being up by 14 and giving up a garbage time TD to Rodgers and that makes that .5 huge

Yeah key for Pack to get up early and force the Niners to try and throw to catch up.
As soon as the corpse of the Eagles' dead season went cold,
id really like to see this defense vs the KC offense. That would be one helluva matchup! So I dont know if I can ROOT for that uniform, but it wont ruin my day if they win the game.

Well, theyre going to win so I dont think it matters who we root for.

Overall, I just hope both games are entertaining.

CRUSHED.

Just for kicks GB 20-SF 17.
Even with the suspension (2 games last season) he should have been the primary guy over Jamal Williams
With his first 1000 yd season and 18 TD's IMO he's the main reason they are in the NFC championship.

San Fran NFC championship game was Quite possibly Eli's greatest game, what a warrior.
He got beaten like the proverbial Red Headed Step child and kept on coming back.
