ignore his body of work because his team can’t block today and his defense is getting run all over.
Those are facts not excuses. You guys aren’t even making a case against Rodgers other then you just don’t like the guy.
Rodgers hasn’t done a goddamn thing to make his team competitive tonight. Nothing. You could replace Rodgers with any other starting QB in the league and get what he’s done tonight.

Can’t you just say that about any QB when their team is losing big?
He’s 9-9 this game half of them throws over 10 yards. He’s throwing well and just not getting time. Had the fumble. His defense is getting obliterated. It’s just not their night.
I challenge you to think even slightly critically instead of just posting “he sucks” or “overrated”.
gives up on his team or checks out way too often. He’s not a guy who needs much to go right to win but he “wants” things to go right. Worst body language of a QB. Only one worse might be Newton or Rivers.
But the guy has 3 touchdowns this half. In the NFC Championship game. Sure the OL is amazing but you can't coach the speed Mostert has. Guy was a track star at Purdue. He is benefitting from this system but it isn't the entire reason for his success. Guy can flat out fly.
RE: How did 6 different teams cut Raheem Mostert? Â
He was inconsistent whil here and never quite met expectations following his rookie year. He's since gone on to play well for SF and anchor a line that run blocs exceptionally well despite being known for doing his best work in pass pro.
So how much of that can be attributed to a coaching failure on the Giants part?
It has been my belief that MOST (not all) of our OL issues were related to coaching.
Just think about this for a minute...
Look at all of the draft picks and free agents over the past 6 years. Can anyone truly tell me that NONE of these guys are NFL quality players? Hey.. we did not like Reese and many don't care for Gettleman... but even a squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Throwing a dart at the board would have resulted in at least ONE of the guys playing well. This is why I really believe our coaching has been the primary issue.

He also fits Shanahans scheme very well
Granted I haven't paid much attention to the 49ers. But Staley, Tomlinson look like beasts among boys right now. Also, I am very jealous that we couldn't get that kinda production out of Richburg. Where did we go wrong. He also became too expensive once FA hit.

I mean, you look at Solder, Remmers, and Zeitler. All 3 were legitimate starting offensive linemen, come here, and all 3 immediately look terrible. I could see one of them falling off a table, but all 3?
Also Hernandez was better day 1 as a rookie than he was at the end of last season. For the record, Ereck Flowers was better as a rookie than he was afterward.
Are we talking about Rodgers or Danny?
Yeah your right. I just went back and watched it again. Really bad fumble there
I don't know - I'm rather enjoying the excuse making for Aaron.

On the same field as these guys. Amazing how niners went from trash to being on the cusp of a super bowl.
What is deceiving is their QB was injured last year allowing them to draft a freak in Bosa
It definitely helped. But didnt there defense suck later year? Crazy what bosa has done
They also signed Kwon Alexander and Dee Ford
True but kwon missed half the year.
Seriously would love to see saquon with a line like this.

If it’s 24-0 at the half, the Xbox gets fired up.
Its the shanhan effect. Like his dad. Denver got any RB and they ran for 1200 yards

I’d wager he’d be hard pressed to hit 4 ypc on the Giants.

If your OL is good enough, anyone can run well.
I would love to see that douche leave with being shut out and 2 interceptions and under a hundred yards.
Call me crazy but I think this team doesn't want to play for him anymore.
its not him its the offensive line, hence why Brieda, Coleman and Wilson are also successful rb's in this offense

Exactly. Imagine Barkley behind this line with TEs making the second level blocks you're seeing tonight. He's legit be a threat to score every play.
Call me crazy but I think this team doesn't want to play for him anymore.
Crazy. He’s arrogant and tough to like, but they are playing in the NFC Championship with mediocre talent in significant part because of him.
This is exactly what Daddy Shanahan's teams did. And it didn't matter who the running back was.
