Whose fault? Rosas missed four XP's and five FG's. These were done in eight separate games,he missed two FG's in the Chicago game. Can anybody remember or pinpoint flat out misses as opposed to bad snaps?
That's questionable. He still missed kicks afterwards. It wasn't as bad. Technique? Very odd for a Pro Bowl kicker to have such a poor season following year. I think he'll see competition in camp this year. Can't afford to be missing kicks in close games.
Even if the snaps were good, it was to the point where it was in Rosas' head.
I was as happy as the next guy to see Do was turn it around in 2018. I liked his leg enough in 2017 not to give up on him. That said, Pro Bowl or not, 2018 was the only really good and consistent year from him. Why should we automatically assume that is the norm for him and not the othhet 2 years? At least get some competition in here.
His snaps were atrocious most of the year. It definitely affected the kicker. Let's all hope that DeOssie was the problem. We should bring in competition for Rosas either way.
