# 22 RB from LSU...

BCD : 1/19/2020 2:53 pm
built for this offense...can get that 3rd and 3... can catch the short one for the 1st down .... can break tackles for the extra 2 needed for the 1st down ...tough as nails ....short and quick like Joe Morris... can stay in the game with SB by moving out wide as LSU did ...most of all a Winner. Please get this little mean MFer.

How do we know for sure what Judge/Garrett will run? Not to mention where he will likely be drafted we have much more pressing needs.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Yea he’s a gamer for sure and I would love for him to be the one to spell SB when needed, but I think he’ll be drafted higher than you think. Kid is good and can do it all. I’d also look at drafting Thaddeus Moss at TE, Randy Moss son. He can block and catch and is strong as hell
CEH...good comparison to Joe Morris

Reminds me of a young MJD some
Love him as a player.

But this team has so many other needs, and so few draft picks, that he would be a luxury that we can’t afford.
Giants should not be worried about RB
Breeze_94 : 1/19/2020 4:47 pm : link
Until day 3 and I think he goes somewhere on day 2.

I think the Giants can use a back to compliment Barkley at some point in this draft though. I like Trey Sermon, Michael Warren, AJ Dillon as bigger bodied backs.

Also, Darius Anderson and Ke'Shawn Vaughn are intriguing speed/shify guys.

Really depends what exactly the Giants are looking for on offense. Barkley can do it all- speed, pass-catching and power so the Giants don't really need a backup who can offset an area of weakness in Barkley's game.

I'm very curious to see Moss's 40 time. He looks the exact of his dad - slow.
New Giants RB coach

needs to find someone will to pass block. Because gods hand forgot to touch effort for passing blocking. He doesn't even try.

Burns is going to do a good job. A sneaky interesting, solid hire...

I disagree

We have Barkley, and he is the best back in the league of the type that he is. What we need in the late rounds of the draft, IMO, is a big-bodied bruiser. A guy that can come in and change the pace, soften up the defense a bit with punishing contact, allowing for some "load management" for Barkley. Then Barkley comes back in and the change of pace catches the D off guard and he springs a big one. A guy like Derrick Henry is so effective because plain and simply no one wants to tackle that guy late in the game. I'd love a guy like that to bring in when we have a 10 point lead (if we can actually get a 10 point lead, obviously), a true "closer" if you will.

Of course, I'm not saying take too many touches away from Barkley, the offense should still be designed around him and run through him, but a "change of pace" north-south type of back is one that can actually benefit Barkley, IMO.

is not big, but he plays big. What a great #2 back he would be. Can't pick him before the fifth round, and he will not be there then.
How do you start a thread without naming the player? Really lazy!
