Sold. Can we work incentives into his contract so thathe gets a bonus for stuff like that? Maybe 20 grand every time he makes someone in the media cry?
I made a list above of some well regarded college O line coaches, but you could certainly add Joe Rudolph of Wisconsin.
Rudolph actually played briefly in the NFL with the Eagles and 49ers.
Rudolph coached at U of Pitt as well.
Rudolph isn’t going anywhere. The guy to get is actually Bob Bostad who was the architect of the line when they had Wagner, Ziegler, Fredericks, Carimi, Groy, Havenstein, etc etc. Hes coaching LBs for the badgers now for a reason no one can quite figure out.

Why do you think Rudolph isn't going anywhere? He's kinda been at Assistant Coach/OC for a while and this could be a 'promotion'.
"DeGuglielmo is a much-traveled offensive line coach with strong ties to Tom Coughlin. It was Coughlin who gave DeGuglielmo his start at Boston College in 1991. Coughlin brought DeGuglielmo to the Giants in 2004 and he stayed through the 2008 season. Since then, DeGuglielmo has worked for the Jets, Patriots, Chargers, Dolphins, Colts and Dolphins again, last season."
Isn't TC advising Rhule? If so, why isn't DG hired there?

OC at Wisconsin to OL coach at the Giants isn't a promotion
Folks are somewhat down on this guy, but he’s been the OL coach for 2 Super Bowl winning teams. Also Colts OL coach in 2018 when they had a great unit.
I guess my question is...what are the concerns with him?
He never seems to last anywhere. Got fired in Indy (although that was more McDaniels' fault than his own), and got fired in Miami last year. This would be his 5th new team in 5 years.
DeGuglielmo was THE REASON Belichick went and coaxed Scarnecchia out of retirement.
