am hoping the Chiefs kick the 49ers ass. Hate the “niners” almost as much
as our eastern division rivals. I’m also color blind so I don’t get the red deal.
Both teams colors are red and gold (plus a little black and white). Different shades of red and gold, but still.
I was trying to figure how many times 2 teams in the super bowl had the exact same basic color combo.
Giants vs Bills I believe was the only other super bowl, with both teams' colors being blue, red, and white.
I don't count the Giants vs. Pats because Pats tertiary color is silver, not white. Same thing for the Colts vs. Cowboys super bowl. Silver is an official color for the Cowboys, but not the Colts.
But yeah, I think this is only the 2nd time in history where you can really say both teams have the same basic color scheme.

Actually... I take that back. I did not realize "Gray" is technically an official tertiary color of the Giants? I mean, I guess it makes sense since they wear gray pants, so I should have thought of that. Which means the Giants are in fact closer in color scheme to the Pats than they are the Bills.
Looking at the various ratios of "color codes" on this website (linked below) I think the Giants vs. Pats may have featured the 2 teams with the most similar color schemes. Giants color codes - ( New Window )
RE: As an aside, the 49ers have requested to wear their all white Â
throwback uniform, which they wore n their crucial week 17 game against Seattle. Thus far, the league has not agreed to it. WHY? WTF does it matter?
That is weird. I like those uniforms.
That said, I wonder if it's because the Chiefs are going to be wearing red jerseys and white pants, so if the 49ers wear white jerseys and white pants, there will be too much similarity, and it will basically just look like an exhibition scrimmage between guys on the same team (like those college football spring games they televise featuring Alabama). The 49ers wearing their gold pants will allow for a little much-needed variation (is what the NFL is thinking perhaps).
if the Chiefs wore their all-red unis (red jerseys AND red pants) and the 9ers wear their all whites (as they did week 17 vs. the Seahawks). That would be interesting IMO.
Fuck the colors.
Besides the only color I like is Giants Blue baby!!!!!’n
I knew once pjcas18 making a joke about me starting a favorite color thread. Close enough?
The Giants red alternate jerseys were great, I wish they'd bring them back.
He needs to do the coin flip right?
Montana is a 49er like Michael Jordan was a Bull. The Chiefs/Wizards stints never happened

That would be awesome. I mean, why not?
that's deeply disturbing.......
Yeah, good point. We don't want to make 50% of BBI all horny again, cheering on their love birds.
But meh, the already got their little "special moment" so who cares?
