Apparently the NBA admitted that should have been a 5s call vs the Sixers, right b4 Harris' 3
Also apparently Love getting a little demonstrative on the court while his O wouldn't move the ball...you know, play basketball the right way...is "drama" and gets him fined by his team? Are these guys THAT sensitive nowadays? WTF do you expect a leader to do when they aren't playing well? NOT say anything? Maybe there was a better time or moment, but in game arm flailing for a justifiable reason no less (and he was right)...that's a fine?
tbf both teams have done that. But 1 dribble / 1 pass into wide open shots? Do pros ever get any D training at any point in their careers?
It's a different time. But man I miss when a hot shooter would get pummeled on his next shot, or denied the ball after a make or 2
My bad, I meant CAN
I didn't know MLK ever had a hammy
but it was still a blatant goaltend
Guy is constantly injured it’s unreal. And he has become a gigantic asshole.
@TheNBACentral
“When I was out for those seven weeks and not saying anything and still people are still saying things about me. It’s inevitable. They crucified Martin Luther King for speaking about peace and social integration.“
It's like we're the same person
Not sure why you can't have a 5 pt play as Breen said - esp on a flagrant, why shouldn't you get both FTs. Why should random circumstance - a made 3 - change that? Seems silly but whatever
if he's going to play stupid, force it by using him smarter
Then a fantastic play - inbound to Portis w/ Dot streaking to the rim. And with today's classic defensive theme by both teams - let's not guard the rim at all - easy layup & a 15 pt lead
Miller: 8-14
Whatever that’s worth...
There is also proof MLK and Kyrie are real people...just saying

Not very good w/ sarcasm are we?
Well it is the internet, so there's always...way more than one
How bizarre a Knick fan posting during a Knick game on a site where there's Knick fans. And oh my, I'm so embarrassed about my posting habits...yet you're counting my every innocuous post in judgement? Ok
-Miami reportedly very active in trade discussions
maybe in a dennis smith trade?
Quote:
reportedly have had multiple looks at Minnesota C Daniel Oturu. I haven't seen him play but his numbers are very impressive.
maybe in a dennis smith trade?
Not Wolves, the Gophers

ok nvm then
-Hearing major buzz regarding Killian Hayes. Another guy I've only seen on youtube.
-Not as high as I expect the Knicks to pick but I'm a big time fan of Isaac Okoro
Okoro really intrigues me as a defensive beast who also has offensive game. I still think Wiseman has the most upside and thus he's still my 1-1 but I really think given our needs and his upside that Hayes should be on our radar.
""He's a unique player," one scout said. "You like that he comes from a basketball family and that he will bring that professional experience from Europe. Playing professionally makes you tough, and you can see that in the way that he plays. I'd bet on him making a big impact right away in the NBA."
-"Hayes is assuredly a good NBA prospect. Outside of his backstory, his tape and statistical profile reveal promising factors for his NBA future. Beyond his size, he also has strong passing vision, able to see the angles necessary to get shooters and bigs open in a modern NBA offense.

It does feel like they've soured on him a bit. I get that he's frustrating, but if the Knicks truly believe what they say about player development, he's a good test case. He has the tools to be an All-Star player, or at least an All-Defense type of guy who can be a legit starter. I'd prefer to keep challenging him to improve, and only trade him if Wiseman falls in their laps and they feel they have no choice.

if knicks traded mitch for a ppint guard, just gut feeling

My gut tells me the Drummond stuff was real and Knicks think they can trade mitch either for a star player or starting claiber point..

Hayes is very interesting. His shooting is much better so far this season than last, and I take it that is the factor scouts were waiting on.
With Edwards/Anthony/Ball all not really impressing this year, it's nice to have the possibility of another playmaker option.

Part of player development is letting the player play through the “downs” of a season and take their lumps. But the Knicks are all talk with player development. They are a bottom 5 team with a starting lineup of guys that have zero future with the team. Worst possible situation to be in the nba.
Nothing is a guarantee..
And a lot of times it is on the player and if he has the work ethic to become that player..
And a lot of times it is on the player and if he has the work ethic to become that player..
This is very true and doesn’t get discussed enough.
can we send frank with him?
Sometimes players just are not good enough, he is not good enough..
Knox- Works hard, has the tools, but just cant put it together..
Mitch- ceiling to me is tyson chandler, if he learns positioning and how to anchor a defense..
Now if he was traded to miami he would all of sudden be shooting 40% from 3..
Stop trying to develop busts, you drafted role players and until you get stars on the team those draft picks will continue to look like dogshit..
and not just for the knicks, for all teams dradting projects doesnt work
Problem is knicks have to trade some of these guys to get some sort of asset back..
you also have to trade 1 of morris or randle
Understood, but I think he's a stud. Great in the post, great feel for the game, can shoot, plus athlete.
and not just for the knicks, for all teams dradting projects doesnt work
Why is every younger player a project? Killian Hayes is averaging 12.8, 6.2 assists, 39% from 3, 46% from the field, 91% from the line as an 18 year old playing in a professional league. Wiseman at 18 was averaging 20 and 11.

i am not saying there is or isnt projects in thisbyears draft, i have not looked at it that closely..
So basically they are judging morris on wins rather than his career year..
Yup.
With the ratings down, and a big market team being run this poorly, could we see some action?

That's the NBA cult of youth problem. That's how an immensely talented and accomplished player like Malcolm Brogdon somehow lasts until the second round.
I'd be very happy with Obi Toppin.
I also don't love the idea of moving RJ to the 3 just yet.
but why risk alienating Hield?
frank and knox came into the game
i have been hard on him, but man would that be a huge plus if he could be a consistent 3 and d..
and coach rewarding him with minutes
1 of the few stars in todays game that was developed and a late bloomer
Have to trade 1 of morris or randle, i prefer to keep randle, but can see why people want to keep morris..
Trade portis for whatever you can get..
Trade ellington for peanuts..
trade smith for a 2nd round pick.
trade frank for a 2nd round pick or peanuts..
keep bullock, keep gibson but off the bench..
Keep Knox for now
