Pro Bowl 2020. Kamara over Barkley

NFL owes Giants fans an explanation..

Kamara: 797 rushing, 533 receiving, 6 touchdowns, 14 games

Barkley: 1003 rushing, 438 receiving, 8 touchdowns, 13 games

Ok the Saints have a better record... much better BUT this is the pro bowl, the team record shouldn't factor in that much if even at all...

the tie breaker should have been this...

Saints players going to the pro bowl: Michael Thomas, Cam Jordan, Drew Brees, Jared Cook, Andrus Peat, Larry Warford, Deonte Harris and Alvin Kamara

Giants players going to the pro bowl: (crickets)

The explanation is that most of the voting comes from fans

Barkley didnt have the type of year to be a pro bowler. He had a decent year. the stats are fairly similar for both players so either way its no big deal.

The bright side is there is no risk of injury and when contract time comes its one less pro bowl on the resume.

By the way, no player on our team deserved a pro bowl consideration.

Maybe it'll piss off Barkley

let him come back 100% next year and put on a show. Plus, last year they had him doing stupid shit like playing an edge DE. Do we really need to see Saquon blow an ACL as he's dipping his shoulder into an OL who weighs 100 pounds more than him on a pass rush move?

The NFL should just cancel the game. It's a glorified walk through.

Barkley is too good of a player to accept sub in Pro Bowl appearances.

Let Barkley think about it this offseason. Not like he needs extra motivation but still...he's a competitor and it will probably give him a little edge.

Hopefully Barkley takes this personally and comes back as a much more willing and able blocker in 2020. He had whiffs just about every week and it was awful to watch live and just as not fun to read about in Sy's recaps.

Some of his tape with blocking is horrid. Gallman worked his ass off at blocking and was rewarded with being benched by idiot Shurmur.
