for a decade here and many believe the Giants STs were awful for all or most of his time here (which includes the DJackson return). That's why many don't understand why he's still coaching.
when Shurmur took over and only came back as an assistant to fill in when McGaughey was getting cancer treatment. Apparently he works well with McGaughey as an underling versus being in charge.
What the fuck is wrong with you people? This Quinn obsession is getting to be some really twisted shit even by BBI standards.

What is wrong with you? This is a NY Giants message board where we discuss the Giants players and coaches. If you don't like it, don't read it or bugger off.
The Giants seem to keep him on regardless of his unit's on-field performance. That's why people kid/speculate about "pictures" (like, blackmail photos).
But it's possible that Quinn has some personal issue that has never been made public — personal illness, family illness, I dunno. Maybe the owners want to keep him on out of personal loyalty or even pity. That would be very Giants-like, in a way.
Maybe the guy gets along well with both players and coaches and does good things during practices and in coaches meetings. You don't know a damn thing about this guy, but you sure know that he ought to be fired.
some guys are just charmers and know how to talk their way out of any situation, successfully making it sounds like they do a whole lot more than they actually do. People are human, including owners and football management guys, so if a guy is likable and says all the right things, and you establish a relationship with him, overall it can just be hard to fire him. Every organization is subject to guys like this finding a way to hang around for far too long. I'm not sure why so many posters on here are so quick to give the Giants ownership, FO, and staff the benefit of the doubt in saying "well there's probably a good reason." We have no idea if there is an objectively "good" reason, guys. Look at the last 8 years of this team. Clearly there is incompetence scattered throughout the organization, and clearly every time we "clean-house" we don't necessarily eliminate all of the incompetence, I don't think that's going out on a limb to say.

That should really be the bizarre part.
