The Giants have hired former Falcons defensive passing game coordinator Jerome Henderson as their defensive backs coach, per source. Joe Judge’s staff is coming together.
"Henderson lost out on the 49ers' defensive coordinator vacancy to Robert Saleh. Entering his 11th year in coaching after spending eight years in the league as a safety, Henderson's specialty is tutoring defensive backs. His return to Atlanta should be good news for the Falcons' young, promising secondary."

especially from teams that also stink. Falcons fans likely hate most of it all of their coaching staff. He’s had successfully stints prior to Atlanta - we don’t really know either way of this is “good”.
He finished his career playing for Parcells/Little Bill with the Jets. He then coached for Eric Mangini, a Little Bill disciple, with Jets and Cleveland

It seems like both Dallas and Atlanta people didn’t mind seeing him leave...
His stats during his. 3 years at Dallas we’re not good, although he didn’t have very good players. But, he might not have very good players here either.
But this group has been sub-par since Henderson took over as defensive backs coach back in 2012. In that span, the Cowboys passing defense has ranked 19th, 30th and 26th respectively prior to last season.
This guy arguably has the most daunting job of all the coaches. To coach up an entire secondary of guys with just one year experience who basically were given no Proper instruction last year And looked dazed and confused the entire year.....well, this coach better be SPECIAL and preferably with a resume to prove he is.
Unfortunately, I see nothing on Mr Henderson’s resume to make me feel that great except he was a great DB himself, being a first round draft choice.
Both the Cowboys and Falcons showed no proof he was successful and both fans from these teams were willing to open the door to wish him well on the way out. So why is nobody talk8mg about this hire?,

Exactly....I’m trying to learn as much as I can too. I keep posting so as to bring this thread upwards so people don’t forget it and it’s out of sight. 3000 views and only me talking....tells me 2999 people have nothing to say. Don’t you think this coach is super critical to,our success on defense too? You saw those 5 guys running around last year like they were lost and unprepared too.
