Must feel weird Eric

similar to when Strahan retired. He predated the web

We were very lucky to have a guy like Eli leading our team

Tough as nails. As an old time life long Giants fan,he made prouder than quite possibly any previous player to be a Giants fan.

Miss you already Eli.

Never missed a game to injury. A great teammate and warrior with a calm and measured on field generalship.

Enjoy your retirement and continued success in your future endeavors. Eli without question is the greatest QB in franchise history. Farewell and hope to see you when you are added to the Giant ring go honor.

A task that no one envies Eric.

Some of the greatest years of my entire life, and ol’ reliable Eli was there every week through it all.

You will be missed. One of the all time great Giants. Best to you and your family.
I watched the first part

Of that. Plaxico was so good. What could have been...
No disrespect to Eli.

A more relatable version of Derek Jeter. What a great man.
Funny quote from Shaun O’Hara on NFL Network
mfsd : 1/22/2020 7:15 pm : link
Tuned in to hear what they’re saying about Eli, and while they were running down Eli’s career stats, O’Hara says:

“One stat that’s not up there for Eli - most postgame victory beers"

Eli played with some real talented knuckleheads
Eli Wilson : 1/22/2020 7:34 pm : link
Between Shockey, Plax and OBJ.

All of those guys could have been hall of famers if they had their heads screwed on right.

Same goes for Nicks if you take away the injuries.

Eli had a great career, but it could have been so much better.
Love Eli
Dr. D : 1/22/2020 8:09 pm : link
yeah, I said it. I love the guy.
The bar has been set

From this moment on, we'll be saying...He ain't no Eli, probably more times than we'll want to.

Thank you Eli, you gave your all to this team.
I wish Eli a fantastic retirement
nicky43 : 1/22/2020 8:41 pm : link
I will miss him, his total class act, his team first mentality, his great QB skills, and his professionalism. great guy. May his retirement be as fantastic as his NFL career. You rock Eli.

Best of Luck Eli

How about leaving him on the roster page as:

"Quarterback emeritus"

Or

"Quarterback honorary"

I'm mostly, but not completely kidding.

My heart literally dropped when I read this. I'm going to cry on Friday.
Eli has no idea
cjac : 1/23/2020 7:27 am : link
how he effected my life, and not with his play, with how he carried himself in adversity. I learned a lot about the benefits of being a class act and its helped me in my career.
