Big Rick in FL : 1/22/2020 8:04 pm
The Hollywood Police Department just issued an arrest warrant for Antonio Brown for Burglary w/ battery.

How sad. He needs to get help before he ends up dead.

With his erratic behavior you have no idea what he will do.
Mentally troubled individual

I know a lot of people point to the Burfict hit as the start of his downfall. However, there’s a reason a guy this talented ended up playing college ball at a small school like Central Michigan. Not comparing the two in terms of skill sets because AB is better, but I keep thinking of ex Lions WR Titus Young whenever I read these new stories on AB. Young was a gifted player, had some great games in the NFL but his mental issues ended his career after only a few seasons. He also played for what at the time was a small program just starting to really hit the scene at Boise State. He wound up there vs a bigger program because of off the field issues.

Yeah I agree. This didn't start with the Burfict hit. Idk what the problems were but I've read he's had problems dating back to HS. I personally think he's on drugs. The NFL has been known to hand painkillers out like candy in the past. I could be wrong on that. Just my opinion.

He was basically homeless in high school. Football saved his life.

had alot to say about Brown's issues. There are alot of people who should be embarrassed and others who might have if caring for people with these sorts of issues wasn't so hard.

I am not here to defend AB but have you seen what type of physical shape he is in? The guy is still training as if he has a shot at the NFL. I dont know about you but I have not found many people who are addicted to pain killers to be extremely physically fit and unfortunately I knew a lot of people who were addicted.

I think he’s lost his identity and is spiraling out of control while trying to find out who he is post football. Really sad if you ask me. I really hope he can find some help.
This is not even funny anymore....

You’re definitely wrong about the pain killers. I am not suggesting that he isn’t taking any but there is absolutely no way that pain killers are responsible for his erratic behavior. He is mentally unstable and clearly bipolar among other things.

I don’t think it’s tragic. I don’t think it’s sad. I don’t think he has mental illness. I think he is a spoiled brat who has been enabled for years because he has talent and has bought into his own hype. Tomlin enabled him by letting him have his own set of rules. He had money and surrounded himself with yes men.

The guy went from Rags to Riches and accomplished the dream. Fame fortune, the top of his profession. But because he could not stop being selfish and caring only about himself (per Ryan Clark) he finally got too big for his team in Pitt.

I have known and seen a lot of mentally ill people before. AB doesn’t fit that profile to me. No I am not a doctor and have no more medical training the majority who h e already concluded mental illness. I hope he straightens up and if he needs help, gets it. But he is not tragic. Tragic is parent who lose their children to cancer. Tragic is a soldier killed defending our country. Tragic is not a spoiled football player like AB

Totally agree. Everyone wants to make into some sad story. The guy is an asshole plain and simple. Dirt bag thug who can play football and nothing more.

I have known, and seen my share of mentally ill people as well, and AB fits the profile. I see the exact same behavior and narcissism in him that friends of mine exhibited before taking their own life. No one in their right mind would be doing the self harm that he's doing.
The behavior he's exhibiting falls in line with

To say it's amy one thing is foolish. I think there is definitely merit in what hyou have said, but I also see merit in what others here have said.

If you watched the Aaron Hernandez documentary, you see that there was not just one thing that sent him down the path that led to his own destruction. It's a similar way with this one.

It's a combo of many things here. Brown can be a spoiled brat who should be held responsible for his actions, and also suffer from mental illness that heightens the impacts of other personal shortcomings.
Humans are NOT supposed to be killers, rapists, molestors, wife beaters
GloryDayz : 1/23/2020 6:04 pm : link
but unfortunately some just are.

They're not necessarily mentally ill, sometimes they're just bad or even evil people.

I'm sorry, to claim someone "needs help", without expert confirmation is just a cop out, an excuse.

In all his years in college & the NFL, with top medical care, chances are if he had a mental illness they would have probably noticed.

I think he's just an immature, self-entitled, ego maniac who has gone through most of his adult life without repercussions due to his talent. And its now catching up with him.

Whatever the cause, he’s increasingly erratic just via the eye test and his behavior is increasingly troubling and dangerous to others. I just hope he gets whatever he needs to get - medical help or legal consequences or both - before what we’ve seen so far (threats, now possibly violence) escalates and someone gets hurt.
