Remember when Eli had the flu going into the 2011 NFC Championship game then proceeded to take one of the worst beatings a QB ever took? Yet he still had a great game and made incredible throws.
Remember when we all mocked Mort for false reports Â
that Eli messed up his shoulder to the tune of missing 6-8 weeks only to find out later that Mort was right and Eli just happened to play through the injury?
and all the talk he could be done for the season. Guts it out the next week against the Packers (loss). That was some serious toughness right there.
This one was very memorable to me. To the best of my knowledge,( and I could be forgetting another time) this is the only time I can even recall him missing any snaps due to injury let alone a game.
I believe we started out 5-0 before getting our asses kicked in NOLA. Next week, we lose @ home to Cards & the wheels just falling out, with a loss in Philly around Halloween. The defense that year was atrocious-CC Brown comes to mind.

That was when I officially stopped watching ESPN other than live events and College Gameday morning
Remember the time Bobby Boucher showed up at halftime and the Mud Dogs Â

Missed second half of a game once against , the Raiders ?
, I believe, after foot injury

He did, but he sat mainly because the Giants were up 31-7 at the half and the Raiders were no threat to come back. (They only put up 124 total yards in that game, despite being in a situation where they should have been able to at least grab some garbage time yards.)
Remember when AJ Smith took Accorsi to the cleaners in the Eli trade.. Â
...Eli only left two games. This one and the one at the end of (2012?) where he suffered another foot injury I believe versus the Skins and didn't play the 2nd half.

I was furious at Coughlin for not using the backup QB and getting him reps.

That's the game that should put Eli into the HoF.

I made this part of a thread on Twitter and this was the closing Tweet
Bahahahahaha this is perfect

I'm not sure I follow - are you suggesting that we should *not* take a real time medical diagnosis from Tony Siragusa seriously?

Remember when Reese called Eli “Skittish”?
Remember when Tiki called Eli “comical”?
Remember when everybody laughed at Eli for saying he thinks he’s elite before the season?
How did things work out.....
LMFAO
That was pretty crazy you both wrote that at the exact minute.
Yep, against the skins. I was very happy it was the last game of the season and he didn't miss a game from the ankle sprain.
