Kinda goes against everything PFF is about and they basically trashed him his entire career. Eli getting in isn’t really the best look for them. It kinda looks like they have no clue what the sport is all about.

I didn't think about this. It's so true. Now it makes sense why they would do this.

They really have no choice but to come hard at Eli’s career. Something I’ve always admired about Eli is, he’s a bull sh!t detector. Just by the way he is and what he stands for. He’ll throw a ball up for grabs and not give a damn about another int on his stat sheet. PFF takes that statline and uses it against him. It’s why so much of their “analysis” makes no sense at all to so many people. It has no context and no heart.
I’ve watched Rivers at the end of games literally REFUSE to throw the ball up and give his team another chance. Rivers always protected his stats. And now look at some of these PFF writers (who probably can’t even recall the context of any of their stats)—Eli is denigrated and Rivers is celebrated. It’s bull and Eli’s career exposes it.
Thankfully, HOF voters like Sal Pal have already gone on record and said he’s voting Eli for the HOF, 1st Ballot. He won’t be the only one.
) He's one of only six multiple Super Bowl MVPs in history.
2) Second-longest QB streak ever. 210 straight games started. Never missed a game because of an injury
3) Every eligible QB who’s reached either 50,000 passing yards or 300 TD passes is in the Hall of Fame. Manning ranks seventh in NFL history with 56,537 passing yards and eighth with 362 touchdown passes.
4) Against the inconsistency points: From 2005 through 2012 — his first eight seasons as a full-time starting quarterback — the Giants never had a losing season. He made three Pro Bowls during that timeframe, and only three QBs won more games during that span — Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.
Watch the video bud. He literally says that.
Watch the video and try again.

Looks like the PFF team is out in full force today.
Watch the video bud. He literally says that.
First, I was referring to PFF regarding the headline.
Second, if you took the time to look at the front page, you will see that there is already a thread on this.
Better luck next time, bud?

You said misleading thread title. And I can't find the other thread mentioning this video / hot take.

There is a reason they don't call it the hall of stats.
There is a reason they don't call it the hall of stats.
They don't call it the Hall of Super Bowls (two words) either.
Eli definitely belongs in the HOF, but so does Rivers. You don't have to denigrate either to make a case for the other.
Ding ding ding!
Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
You need to buy those glasses for your cat, that make football players on TV screens look like mice.
