And anyone else familiar with Charlotte...heading there with my wife for a four day weekend in early March...hoping to stay somewhere near South Brevard...
Any suggestions/recommendations for lodging, restaurants, things to do, etc.? TIA
There are several top end hotels in the "uptown" area.
Take your pick. It is a very walkable city in that you can walk from one end of the uptown area to the other end in 15 minutes. There are several museums and also the Nascar Hall of Fame. Just south of town is Southend with a number of breweries and restaurants which are easily accessible via train called the Lynx blue line. Ten miles outside of town is the Whitewater Center if you are into rafting. There is the Music Factory just north of town with a number of restaurants and clubs.
I just got back from Charlotte yesterday. One of my local buddies took me to the Old Mecklenburg Brewery. There are multiple breweries and distilleries within a couple hundred yards there. Had a great time.
It may be hard to keep busy for four days.
