game today at 2:30pm. Who are we interested in? I know the QB Herbert is playing but I want to know guys that we might have interest in in later rounds.
profootballnetwork.com did a really great job with the Senior Bowl this week.
The had a list of every player on the North and South teams. As the week moved along, they did the official measurements, followed by how the player performed during each practice, and finished it up with a player by player analysis.
I attached a link. If you go to the either North or South, you will see each player, sorted by position. You can click on measurements, any practice day, or analysis to get a quick report on each player. Link - ( New Window )
Detroit has a small chance for taking Tua themselves if the rumors abouts Stafford's long term health being cloudy actually have some truth to them. Miami seems very bent on a QB. Would they have a high enough grade on Herbert or Love? Its possible. Imagine picking up their 2nd or even their late first to move down 1 spot? They'd also have to believe wed trade out to someone else if they don't move up of course.
the Chargers are very much interested in Jordan Love. There are whispering of Patrick Mahomes traits. This may be a pipe dream, but when it be nice if the charges call the Giants for a trade up?

Would be incredible. Because one of Becton/Wills or Simmons/Okudah will still be there at 6. But they would have to think Panthers or Jags could make the jump too otherwise why trade up?

If I am Detroit and love Tua, take him. It's not rumor, I think its a reasonable projection that Stafford doesn't last too much longer.

Some idiot, noting the teams lined up to pick after the Lions, just called the Giants "Quarterback needy"?
What did they hire Go Terps to do color on the game?
JK Terps.
Herbert looked great I thought, but he's gotta ease off on that cannon and exercise a bit more touch IMO.
You heard it wrong. It did look like he placed a check mark next to the Giants but he was referring to the three teams picking after the Giants. He just had poor placement with the pen while checking the teams on the screen. And it was Daniel Jeremiah, who has the Giants taking Becton in his mock draft
Senior Bowl practices and interviews mean much more than the game Â
By multiple accounts I've seen and read Herbert had a great week in all respects. He's much more technically sound and prepared to start than Love.
It's a question of what a team desires at the position that will determine interest as they are extremely different players. Burrow and Herbert are more traditional QB prospects with good athleticism. Tua and Love are more athletic and prone to mobile playmaking.
Is absolutely killing it. His hand technique is incredible
Uche has been just as good. The Oregon offensive tackle having a really rough game. He was a guy was talked about quite a bit during the season.
The guy who looked great IMO, was OT Josh Jones. I know he supposedly had a really good week of practice, but he looked like the goods during the game. He just manhandled Jonathan Greenard when they were matched up.
Our pick this year will be for the forth year in a row 2020 senior bowl MVP Justin Herbert. Sorry DJ but that is how we do it. Draft the MVP and then get rid of them.

I brought him up on Sy's thread two days ago since I thought there was a lot of talent on that Utah team this year.
Sy liked him but thought he lacked high end talent and couldn't be counted on to be the feature guy.
So what you want, but Anae has performed all year. Just outstanding production. I was not surprised at all by his efforts at the Senior Bowl...
Problem for me is ... he reminds me of Hunter Dimick... you start to wonder if the scheme is making these high effort guys get production. Another Utah player tho I am really high on is their RB Moss that is coming out.

No, I don’t see that. Why do players always get compared to previous players from the same college team?
Anae might not have an elite first step, but he’s as physical as they come at his position.
Ben Bartch, OT - St Johns might have to move in to OG, but very violent hands and nasty to the whistle type motor. Compares to Will Hernandez in power, movement skills and obduracy.
Matt Peart, OT - U Conn lean long athlete with 35+" arms and 10" hands, 6'6.5" tall, developmental type can learn LT behind Solder excellent movement skills called "smooth".
Cushenberry OC - LSU too well known to last to back of the 3rd round, looks like a possible target round 2, not in the least a secret.
FIRST two guys haven't got much press yet, they might rise up boards post combine.
This opinions expressed on one of the Giants oriented podcasts, with Bisignano and Nate something IIRC.
WR Mims size/speed
All guys lighting it up so far.
The QBs doing well gives us more potential for a trade down partner in the 5-7 range ideally.
It's not just a lack...I think it's the law.
So I am.

I like Tua better than Burrows right now.

Very cool. Thanks.
Baun didn't play in spite of being called out as D person to watch

Cushenberry's LSU linemate at OLG, Damien Lewis, looked even better IMO. Big boy, good feet getting outside on a screen to block in space.
He had 13 sacks this year. Has had a nice college career. Wonder why we haven’t heard more about him?

I wasn't listening carefully but saw that check mark and thought I heard him say "the next three teams picking after the Lions..."

I got my wish. I hope Detroit trades out of 3 to someone who wants Herbert. That way, we get OKUDAH! Drop mic......boom!
12th, 19th, and Maxx Crosby would be enough for me to pull the trigger.
