Hey all... My sister lives in Jenkintown PA and sent me this email this morning.
Thought the just I could do is put it out here to see if it finds its way to the Giants organization somehow, or maybe someone at BBI is compelled to pass it on or register as a donor.
Thanks.
"Hey guys. Hope you're all doing well. This may seem like a strange ask, but there is a teenage boy at our high school who is dying of lymphoma. He literally only has a few months to live at this rate. He needs to find a bone marrow donor but because he's African American, there are a lot fewer donors out there. The word has been spread locally but so far, no matching donors have been found. The high school kids, including Davan and her friends, and staff at the school have kicked it into high gear to try and spread the word to get more people to register as potential donors in hopes that a match can be found in time to save Juwan's life.
Obviously, neither of you are likely matches, but you know a lot of people in your industry and in NY. So we're reaching out to anyone we can think of who may be able to help spread the word. Anyone can register to be a potential donor (as long as they are 18 to 44). You just have to sign up to have a kit sent to your house, swab your cheek and send it back. So, if you can think of a way to enlist more people -- especially minorities -- to watch these news stories about Juwan and register to become potential donors, that would be great.
Also, Juwan is a Giants fan! If you know of anyone with an in with the Giants who can maybe get someone from that organization to get involved and help spread the word, that would also be amazing. Obviously, only do what you're comfortable doing. We ourselves just feel compelled to ask as many people as we can think of to help out as this kid is fighting for his life. Thanks for considering!"

I'll bump Monday
A big part of this is about awareness so I thought the Giants connection might take the story outside of the Philadelphia area and give it a wider audience. Unfortunately there isn’t an email address I can simply forward this to for the Giants
If a match is found, only 4-6% of healthy marrow is needed. That can be replaced by the healthy donor in less than 6 weeks.

Couple options that might help ... Pat Hanlon (Giants PR) emails that may work:

Also, a good friend of mine (Charles) had a similar obstacle some years ago. BBI's Hope J tried to help with outreach about a donor (he was 50/51 when he went through his battle, and sadly did not win it).
I contacted Charles' wife, and she passed along a few things. Here's one piece:
https://theundefeated.com/features/villanova-cornerback-saving-lives-black-bone-marrow-donors/
In 2009, when then-Villanova head coach Andy Talley put out a call for help to student-athletes, Talley started the Get in the Game, Save a Life campaign, which encourages students to join on bone marrow donation to save lives. According to Villanova’s website, more than 80 college football programs around the country participated and the campaign has resulted in more than 200 identified matches for patients with life-threatening illnesses.

When I saw Jenkingtown I thought of Barry.
I hope he gets the help he needs. Best wishes to him.
Any other ideas for getting to the Giants with this story?

Best wishes for all involved
thanks for the help BBI
