Each year, State Farm has an All Star challenge for the players eligible for the draft that are considered to be the best all around athletes at various football positions.
The competition has gone on for about the past 20 years and involves a variety of timed skill events.
This year it is Friday night, January 31st at 9 pm on ESPN2.
I mention this because the Giants have ended up drafting players that participated in prior years. Last year it was Julian Love and Oshane Ximines. In the prior year it was Will Hernandez.
I don't know what his NFL position will be, but it will be fun to watch Bryce Perkins this year. He is the younger brother of former Giant RB Paul Perkins and is just an incredible athlete. He was the QB at Virginia the past 2 years. Not sure he has a future as an NFL QB, but he certainly could make any offense much more dangerous. I think some NFL team will draft him on Day Three and find a way.
Here is a list of this years players:

Cam Akers, RB, Florida State
AJ Dillon, RB, Boston College
Bryce Perkins, QB, Virginia

For those of you that follow the NFL Draft, some TV to watch and some Combine news.
With the Combine invites, its also interesting to follow the 5-10 players that were expecting an invite, but were not invited. Seems every year there are a few non invite surprises.
