I just read an article about a guy who got busted for several false claims. Apparently Allianz, who insures a lot of different businesses, noticed a pattern of claims for this one guy over a few years. They requested video from a store for a recent "fall" and found it to be egregiously fake. He may be in legal trouble himself now.

I mean, you could just look up the guy bringing the lawsuit and you'd be able to find out his political affiliation pretty easily - he's not some random person; he's a small-time talking head. I'm not going to link any articles that reference him but you can find it with a simple web search.
To whatever degree someone might find this person's behavior hypocritical, it's all out there in the open if you care to check for yourself - I don't think that's necessarily assuming anything.
