What Happened with Gallman?

I saw this question asked on other threads but never saw a response. Something happened to put him on the outs with the coaching staff but nothing was ever made public & i heard on a blog that Gallman was never told why he was not active the last few games. I thought he was a decent backup. My only explanation was it was special teams related but thats just a guess. Was there an explanation?

I think he started fumbling ....not sure if there was more to it.

I suspect he starts a new with this group....but will be gone if he does not fix the fumbling.

I really liked him and his style seemed perfect compliment to Barkley. Hope it was just awful coaching staff and he rebounds here. Couldn�t hurt to invest in another RB in this draft too.

... the fact that in his first 4 seasons with Miami, he couldn�t sniff 4.0 yards a carry/crack 300 yards in a season. He ends up in KC for a box of doorknobs and boom, this 3.5 yard per carry (over 50 plus games) dude suddenly becomes explosive, productive, and tears it up throughout the playoffs.

Remember Gallman at Clemson? Complete badass and TD machine at the highest level of college football. In evaluating his �talent,� scheme and usage seem paramount ... hell, Damien Williams was awful his first 50 games ... and looked like Terrell Davis in the SB.

Promising rookie year under McAdoo, couldn't seem to get any traction under Shurmur. Could be as simple as a guy falling out of favor with a staff. Call me crazy but Im still a fan, I think he can play.

was passed on the depth chart by Allen, which is pretty damning. How the new coaching staff views him is unknown. But even if they view him as a good #2, he's a FA after this season and therefore likely gone then at the latest.

...it's 4th straight year of sucking cork you can't afford to pull your best skill player off the field often. Unfortunately Gallman was also hurt for part of the stretch when Barkley was out.
