Worst team - by far - Roy has ever coached. It’s a true stain on his legacy. Thankfully he has maybe the best class in the country coming in.
Not even NIT bound. I was done with them last week against BC. A pitiful disgrace - not surprised to see them piss this away too on free throws high school teams make.

This team has many flaws but 2010 was awful. They didn't have injuries, they just sucked.
I'm not sure why Jones gets treated like he's Gary Payton and if you breath on him (the last play was not a foul at all) it's called, but they can tackle Platek.
I still can't believe they didn't call that foul. Platek literally got tackled and somehow it's not a foul AND the ref gives Duke the ball. And then somehow watches it on replay and doesn't do the common sense thing and make it right on replay (it was tough to tell who it went off of, but there was enough there where he could have easily fixed the blunder of not calling a foul)
This Duke team is not very good either. UNC if Cole played all year and they didnt have 5000 other injuries would be a 7 seed or so. Duke isn't very good but they probably are one of the 10 best teams in the country, which says a lot about how bad the field is this year. Worst field I can remember and there's not a close second in the last 20 years.
Calling college players losers is a bit much. This is the year the academic investigation finally really hurt the roster. The Plateks of the world are never even on the roster without it.
The 2010 UNC team was the worst of Roy's career. And the idea that this puts any type of stain on Roy's legacy is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. In 5 years no one is going to remember this year happened. Just like no one remembered that 2010 happened.
The call at the end was a total joke but if UNC simply made 60% of their free throws they win by 10
when Roy is retired, not one person is going to remember the 2019-2020 season.

Always sucks losing to Rat Face. Brutal season — they tried to invoke the Cam Johnson veteran transfer magic with Pierce and Keeling, but they’ve really struggled and the team has been decimated by injuries — missing three guards tonight. Now that the cheating scandal has died down, I think they’ll start to get the elite one-and-done guys again — which is bittersweet because the Luke Maye years were fun in a different way. UNC, Giants, Knicks ... can’t wait for the Yanks to get started.
He went to Guilderland HS and played varsity until transferring to prep school. He did play in at least one sectional final, losing to Shen (Kevin Huerter - Atlanta Hawks)

It took four minutes to play go from 16 seconds left in overtime to 12 seconds to play!
Just brutal...
With the replays, the substitutions, the timeouts, etc, the sport is broken with that ratio.
