I know many have given up, and I can't blame them as the past 2 seasons were crap. However I like what I saw out of the premier last night. I think this show is always at its best when Carrie struggles between her brilliance as an agent, and the affects of her mental illness. Also the show is best when it is based in the Afghan/Middle Eastern conflict. Her having no recollection of those 180 "lost days" can make for a solid season. The epi had some of the great drama scenes that made the show what it is. Max and the soldiers and the river bed scene, and the final scene with Gromov passing by her in the office were classic Homeland.
