I know many have given up, and I can't blame them as the past 2 seasons were crap. However I like what I saw out of the premier last night. I think this show is always at its best when Carrie struggles between her brilliance as an agent, and the affects of her mental illness. Also the show is best when it is based in the Afghan/Middle Eastern conflict. Her having no recollection of those 180 "lost days" can make for a solid season. The epi had some of the great drama scenes that made the show what it is. Max and the soldiers and the river bed scene, and the final scene with Gromov passing by her in the office were classic Homeland.
Hoping the season/show ends on a high note.
Also, how about Max running like he had a load across the river bed.
But I did like what I saw last night. Need to re-watch it because I was distracted on a few parts, but got the gist.
Although it did seem far-fetched that Saul could just waltz into the military hospital and have her on a plane to Kabul despite all of her lingering, unresolved issues...
yea I guess I said it wrong in the OP. It gets old when she's struggling with staying on/getting off her meds and toeing the line between cookoo and brilliance. What I liked about last night is the concept that she has all that missing time to recover and struggling with what she may have done unintentionally.
I believe for those type jobs their are Military technicians that are already tasked to perform those type of duties.
