@RapSheet
The three-month CT scan for #Bama QB and coveted draft prospect Tua Tagovailoa was as positive as possible, sources say. The fracture has healed. The hip and its range of motion is good. It’ll likely be another month before he’s cleared for football activities, tho, as expected.
Just in case anyone like the

Dolphins, Chargers, Panthers, Jaguars, Raiders, Colts etc missed it..
I really only expect positive reports

I still wouldn't draft him, just see him as a guy always nursing something.

Good for him though, hope he goes top 3.
Good news for him and potentially us...

if we're exploring the trade down market. As we should be.

I agree with this.
I'm glad the Giants are not a desperate QB team at the top of the draft this year.
This will forever be the problem with tanking and the reason for why teams should never do it.
Don’t they mean

Good news for us

If someone trades up with us, great.

If someone trades up to 3, then we still get one of Okudah (most likely) or Chase (even though 99% chance he goes 2)

When Francesa had his doctor buddy on

He said the key thing was whether or not blood flow returned to the injured area. He suggested this would be an unknown until around draft time and was really just something they would have to hope worked out, it was not related to quality of care or rehab or anything. He said if the blood flow does not return Tua’s football career is effectively over.

Wonder if this announcement covers that at all?
Still holding out hope

that someone trades up with Washington to take a QB and that the Lions draft one as well to replace Stafford like the rumors suggest.

That would be totally ideal.
LOL!
mdthedream : 2/10/2020 3:26 pm : link
I hope he goes 4th :)
in that case we should draft him
mdc1 : 2/10/2020 6:01 pm : link
and trade Jones.
Perhaps a dumb question

If you could manipulate his way into the supplemental draft wouldn’t he be better off? He buys valuable weeks to rehab and I put some of the top teams in the past and a quarterback back in play? Don’t hurt me too bad I’m just a baseball guy
Sorry for the typos

But you get the idea - Should proofread my bed

If he enters the supplemental draft he doesn’t get past the Lions or Dolphins. It only costs them 2021’s first round pick. And they would essentially still be picking 3rd and 5th in the supplemental draft. And this puts into play Cincy taking Chase #1 knowing they can have Tua too... would make no sense for Tua in regards to manipulating what team he wants to play for , basically.
Well
mdthedream : 2/11/2020 6:55 am : link
He than could be taken by a team that has a QB because of the trade value alone. Like the Redskins I would take him knowing I could get a lot more than one first rounder back.
