NFT: Tile key finder with a dead battery- am I out of luck?

Long story but lost my car keys during a work trip. I have a Tile Bluetooth key finder on my keychain, but the battery is dead. It’s registered with Tile, I have the serial number for it, etc. Think there’s any way Tile (the company) can/would “hack” into that device and be able to find it for me? From what I read, those batteries don’t go dead as soon as Tile would have you think...because they want to force you to buy new ones. So I’m not sure they don’t actually just deactivate them after a year or so.

in them are batteries available anywhere, so im not sure why they would make them that way to make you buy more batteries when they arent the ones making money on the batteries.

If the battery is dead, you're shit out of luck.

Except we know where it happened it's just covered in snow and her Tile Battery is dead. I slipped coming into the house on some ice and the keys flew out of my hand. She's out of town so she had to share the Tile with me so I could try and find it. My phone picked it up out in the yard but her battery died. Couldn't hear any noise from it prior to dying because our neighbor has those damn windchimes that sound just the Tile.

Metal Detector is supposed to arrive tomorrow, so I'm hoping this will work.

What you head is a myth. If the Tile’s battery is dead there’s nothing to be done.
