Duncan's postseason performances really were incredible. If I'm starting a team with one of these 3 as a rookie I'm taking Duncan.
KG was a complete player who got screwed by years of bad teams in Minnesota from being an even more transcendent star. All worked out in the end though.
Kobe gets boosted a lot historically by his self-mythologizing and the rings argument. Of course the first three were primarily won by a guy who at his peak was better than any of the three were listing here. Kobe is a distant third here for me.

.
The Celts are retiring KG's No. 5 next year, he wasn't there that long, but he certainly helped them to a championship!
(Celts should have had two....oh well).
As a Celts fan, I appreciated what KG brought to that team. I will also say the Celts have too many retied numbers,
I mean Don Nelson, c'mon man.
better career - but McGrady at his peak was a monster. Just as good as peak Wade - and maybe even a smidge better. The problem was McGrady's peak didn't last all that long and he was cooked before he was 30. His career likely looks a lot different if his best teammates (yao and Grant Hill) have better injury luck or him and Vince stay in Toronto together.

Sorry I'm misunderstanding. You're saying "we have the 50 best players of all time"... as in who are those 50?
No I’m saying NBA already came out with 50 in the 90s. Since that list came out, name 10 more players to join them.
Ohhh got it. Thanks for clarifying. Can you link me to that list officially from the NBA? Every time I type in top 50 NBA players I get like a million different lists from random websites.
Agreed with all of this.
Who are the next 10?

Duncan

Wade was better than Kidd, Nash, & AI. I'd still put TD over Kobe. Dirk was better than AI.

I can make an argument that Duncan is a top 5 player of all time. Legendary player.
And this is laughable.
