It appears the Jags like Minshew and Foles for this year and it's looking doubtful they will be moving up.

Second, I'd handicap it at 95% that Simmons is gone by #9. So you put in a lot of effort, which we all appreciate, to float a scenario that is highly unlikely to materialize imo.

Slight trade down in 2nd to pick up xtra 4
Sign Conklin, Littleton or comparable 3 down ILb to pair with healthy Connelly. Veteran cb or safety for back 7. Total FA spend 40 million
Resigning L Williams approx 14 per. Cut the usual suspects. Bethel, ogletree, Ellison and Martin. Safe 20 million. Leaves 25 million for cap for rookies and extensions.

Looking to save the big splash ER or cherry on top true #1 WR till 2021. Can’t do everything in a yr. team has holes.

1)defense. Simmons. Hybrid ol/ rover / all over the place
2) C Ruiz
3) OT. Prince W
3)Wr Pittman

With 7 left , tons of defensive depth and possibly TE and RB. Would love a move the chains RB for the things saquon doesn’t do great. Plus both on the field with saquon in space more often. Never against a mid rd TE who can block and can develop. Even though we have kaden S as possiblY solid 2nd TE. Who knows what’s up with Engrem.

Your OL approach is another stop gap approach. Jones, Barkley and to a certain extent Judge and Gettleman’s future will depend on their ability to get the OL fixed with a long term durable solution. You want to sign Conklin fine, but you need to find Solders replacement in this draft and a long term answer for center.

With regards to your draft you have good players but you don’t have an OT until late. I understand solder is still on the team and if you sign Conklin you don’t really have a need for one.

Simmons is maybe the best player in the draft, yes I said the draft. He won't be there at 9 but is better than Epenesa or Becton. The Giant's can get a offensive lineman in round two.

So Earl is in line with other mocks. And DG did cluster draft DBs last year

So not as outlandish as some are saying

and build up the OL in the draft. If we trade down to 9 I would think we get one of the Top OTs or if Simmons is there you take him and still get an OL later. Either a OT or C.

I dont like Simmons for the Giants. He is not a powerful player and I think he would be a better late 1st round pick. I see him as a better college player than NFL player. He can get by on speed alone in college, he will get manhandled in the NFL. just my opinion.

Lots of areas of need for sure. . . I would just like to see the Giants trade down for more picks. Something like getting 18, 26, and 70 from the Dolphins, which would equal the 1800 point value of the 4th pick. So we end up with two firsts and a third for the #4 pick. Seems like great value to me. We can address LT, C, RT, WR, LB, Edge, S, CB through the draft and FA, but they need more picks. I would like them to solidify the OL.

Just erase the Leonard Williams thing and then send this onto Gettleman.
