was watching him earlier and he'd be an awesome addition to this team. I know he is redundant with Tate/Shepard, but Tate is going to be 32 and Shep has some issues with concussions.
Hamler would immediately bring juice to the offense and ST's as a returner. Reminds me alot of a young Desean Jackson/Santana Moss. After watching KC this season, and a guy like Deebo Samuel with the versatility he brought to San Fran, I'd love this guy in Blue.
Assume the Giants bring in some defensive talent in FA and grab an OT in Rd 1- I think this would be a nice piece to a good offensive core. Great offense is more sustainable in the NFL than great defense.
Look how fast Jacksonville fell off. Same with that SB winning Denver team.
He looks uncoverable on tape, and he makes monkeys out of every CB who's tried to cover him.
I'm not sure he'll be there even at the Giants' high second round pick if he runs at the combine as I suspect he will.

It may be a deep WR class, but each prospect brings something a little different to the table. Hamler has that speed that shows up on the field. I don't think there are many like him, and I think there's a chance he may end up being better than Ruggs.
BPA is generally the right way to draft early, but need/roster composition should factor in as well. KJH will probably go in the 40-60 range, where we don't have a pick. Reaching at 36 feels wrong, trading up into KJH's range feels worse.
Every draft includes prospects like this. We're not in a position yet to be drafting plan B roster options in premium draft slots, particularly when we've already pissed away the pick that would have been best positioned as the centerpiece of a trade-up for KJH.
TL;DR: LW made KJH unrealistic. Thanks, Dave!

I will be very surprised if Mims doesn't go before the 4th round.
