I've been wearing a pair myself for several years. It really sucks when you're in a noisy environment and can't understand what someone is saying when you are expected to respond. I sympathize with him.
they do the pressers has a few other ones going on at the same time, so there is a lot of background noise, especially if one crowd is a little larger.
You can't get a sense of it from the audio, but it is really difficult to hear some of the questions.
