Take a look at what Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are doing in the Premier League.
It is pretty amazing. In the top soccer league in the world, Liverpool has 26 wins and 1 tie. ZERO LOSSES!
By contrast, the 2nd place team, who had been dominating before Liverpool's run has 3 ties and 6 losses.
Liverpool is 22 points clear of first place.
This would be like having a team undefeated and the next closest team at 9-7.
while you have guys like The Chosen One salivated over by many teams, Klopp just gets it done wherever he goes.
It is truly a remarkable season Liverpool is having.
He's been really good, too, from all I have read, at replenishing their youth programs. So they look to be in good shape for the future...
Klopp's Pool like Guardiola's City [b]era[/] will be rightfully remembered in England and the football world among the top sides of the current era.
That's assuming Pool doesn't Van de Velde down the stretch.
I would actually argue they’ve had pretty significant injuries and it makes their success that much more incredible. They began the season with Alisson out for about two months, he’s among the best goalkeepers in the world if not the best. Fabinho has missed time, Lovren, Matip, Mane, Henderson, Ox, Keita, Robertson.
It’s amazing how much they’ve won.
The concern now is they will drop out of the CL and essentially be playing for nothing the rest of the way. I know they are capable of getting past Atletico but it’s not a sure thing.

is they have been extremely healthy. They are able to roll out the same starting XI basically every week, and haven't had any significant injuries. To me that is most remarkable considering all of the competitions they've been in.

When has Robertson, Mane or Henderson missed significant time this year? Robertson has appeared in all 27 PL matches, and Henderson and Mane in 25. Van Djik, Alexander-Arnold, Salah, Firmino, all those core guys have been able to stay on the field. Look at other teams, like Spurs for example, who have been without Kane and Sissoko since early January, and just recently lost Son for the season. Those are massive blows.
One thing about Watford winning though - they were in the relegation zone and I think are one point clear now with the win (or something like that). I know MLS will probably never have relegation but it really motivates teams near the bottom of the table at this time of year. Relegation is terrible for a team in all kinds of ways, including financial. I really doubt Watford gives this effort without it as a factor.
