I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate all the rumors pertaining to the Giants on one thread. Let's try to keep this thread clean and post only news from trusted media sources.
Is being released by the Bears, I know he has underwhelmed, he made under 3 mil last season, I know we were interested in him when he came out, maybe he can be had on a 1 year prove it deal, I could see him having a good year if he fits in the type defense we will run, you resign Golden even and that could work.

Worst case scenario is he doesn’t work on a prove it deal
"Worst case scenario is he doesn’t work on a prove it deal"
Toiloilo isn't a prove it failure deal nitwit. He's a role player specialist. So dumb.
Nice name-calling! Definitely strengthens your point that Darryl Williams and Leonard Floyd are bottom feeder signings but Toiloilo who may not make the team is a top of the market priority signing. Can't argue with such a line of thinking.
Can we make this thread just for Giants FA Rumors and not discussions on other topics? I hate Marc Ross as much as anyone but how is that related to FA Rumors?
Agree I ignore anything he says & if he comes on the NFL Network,I change the channel!!!
are nothing but a straw man argument. You're stating your opinion which isn't supported by what happens every NFL offseason. I don't have interest in arguing with you further so this is the last I'll say on the topic then I'm moving on.
Williams is a former all-pro who would be penciled in as the starter at RT. They currently don't have a RT. Floyd would be a situational pass rusher. Apparently in your world though you don't prioritize those things over a tight end who may be competing for a roster spot? Give me a break. Clearly you are talking out of your ass and you probably realized your point didn't make any sense hence why instead of actually supporting your point you decided to instead act like a jerk.
but you're on of the dumbest, least knowledgeable football posters on the site. I'm not engaging you anymore. You're not worth my time or effort. Go on spewing garbage. No one gives you any credence.
Nice. Lots of "facts" to continue supporting your "argument".
3 rounds 8 oz gloves? Or do you guys prefer the octagon?
Seriously you each make some points. I get that some opinions are better thought out but there really is no right or wrong here just discussion and opinion.

Jets are in the market for a backup QB. Veteran Matt Moore played well for Adam Gase in Miami when needed. He would be solid Sam Darnold insurance.
But keep an eye on the Giants, who have made it known that they’d be interested in having Moore as Daniel Jones’ backup in 2020.

He's a good backup. Be happier with him than Tanney
Again, this incompetent idiot is doing his best to build another team that won't make significant progress next season and that's even with a new coaching staff. I get it, Dave Gettleman does do some things right but the problem comes down to the fact that he can't seem to ultimately build a successful team. A lot of this has to be with how he handles Free Agency and Trades which as we all know is a large part of building a team that can look to challenge in the league. I can't seriously understand how anyone can look at these transactions so far and be satisfied with what we are doing compared to the value other teams are getting.
DG is a bumbling idiot. We need an impact player on defense and all we got so far are pieces. Clowney, wont happen with this "Clown" running the circus unfortunately. All the big time lineman and defensive ends are going elsewhere. We still have holes everywhere and DG is pacing himself instead of moving his ass....

As others have said there is a lot working against the franchise right now.
Remember:
Record wise they’ve been the worst team across multiple seasons
They’ve turned over 3 coaches in a short period.
The unknown of yet another coach
NJ State income taxes.
And, like it or not, Dave Gettleman’s presence is a negative.
sure a ton of holes on this team
We still need around 2 ER and a safety on D, and a couple that are high impact an ILB that can cover too
arent connelly and martinez very similiar?
offense
2 olinemen at least 1 more WR
We can probably fill 1 or 2 holes in FA
hopefully 3-4 in draft
DG I have soured on
The only team in the league who has 10 run stuffers on our D line, zero of them can push the pocket or pass rush and 16 million of that is dedicated to a guy who had 2 and a half sacks. The man is brilliant as a GM.
for the negative sentiment from posters above. I know people are frustrated and the Giants don't deserve the benefit of the doubt but it's not like there aren't a ton of impact players still on the market. If they sign none then I can see why people would be pissed off but they haven't missed on any glaring obvious guys yet (aside from choosing Martinez over Littleton or Schobert).
I would have hoped for a pass rusher of some sort by now
For one brief, shining moment, djm got wood thanks to you.
I didn't even see this rumor until much later. Thankfully, no premature wood for this guy. Not that I need any help from a 255 pound war daddy...NTTAWWt
RE: I would have hoped for a pass rusher of some sort by now
Clowney is probably out of reach and may not be fiscally responsible but Jenkins, Fowler or re-signing Golden would be a good move.
I really didn't want to sign a big-ticket pass-rusher this year. For one thing, I haven't given up hope that Carter and/or Ximines will improve with better coaching and a better scheme. For another, I think the Giants will look to add an ER/OLB at some point in the draft.
What I'd like to see them do is sign a stopgap, a veteran who still has something left in his tank, to act as a situational pass-rusher. Vinny Curry would be my choice.
In addition, I'd like to see more improvements to the Secondary. Bradberry was a good start, but I'm still hoping the Giants can sign a veteran FS to team up with Peppers and Love in sub-packages. Try to force more coverage sacks and INT's.
What do you see in him? I sure didn't watch much of Denver, but he's another smallish C like Pulley. I wonder if Gates or a draft choice starts there for us next year.

I just want a fucking Centre who doesn't get pushed back consistently
"ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Cowboys won't exercise OT Cameron Fleming's option.
It's still possible Dallas brings him back for less than his $4 million option would have entailed. The 27-year-old swing tackle is also a candidate to reunite with Giants OC Jason Garrett in New York."
that's 5 guys with starting experience at their respective positions, 3 who have made pro bowls, plus Gates and Pulley.
That really gives them some flexibility in the draft to do anything from drafting Solder's immediate + long term replacement in round 1 or a couple more developmental players.

Fleming is another possibility at RT I would think

Dan Metro Man had a thread maybe 2 weeks ago breaking down both Williams and Fleming. In it, you will see metrics some posters and I provided on both players that do not paint pretty pictures. They were, actually, awful. Signing either of those 2, especially Fleming, would be asking for problems.
Gates looked pretty decent at OT last couple of games
Worst case scenario is he doesn’t work on a prove it deal
Currently we still have $35M to spend. Floyd and other similar failures and injury cases(Daryl Williams)can wait.
Oh so like Levine Toilolo?

I think they probably have the capability to work with multiple players at once and forecast various cap scenarios at the same time.

Yep, really not difficult to trim the sections you are not replying to from the post when replying. Takes about 15 seconds to delete a few sentences.

Looney and Flemming a little bit lesser.
Someone like Marcus Gilbert would be ok too.
And if the Jags are shopping someone like Brandon Linder, that would be a really nice pickup.
None of those moves would prevent drafting at least 1 OL early on too.
Seems like he's the best C available, so cool with me

at least he didnt suck out there
Then why does he have 7 sacks in two years.
