My question would be: What is the likelihood that a team, and especially this GM , who has a history of rarely or never dealing down, would do so several times.
If you re just sharing what you would do as GM, very well done, I m impressed with your knowledge and creativity.
But if you re presenting a scenario that actually might happen, I think, not happening.
"Do this".
Sincerely,
BBI

I really like this draft!!
It kind of is out of the realm of possibility because they would just make that offer to Detroit. Jax has a ton of needs. They cannot afford to just give up basically all their picks. The Jets did what they did because no other team was moving down and they were also very secretive about it. They wanted to get a deal done immediately before other teams found out so they gave up a ton but at the same time they gave up two second round picks in the same year. The 3rd second round pick was the following year. You have Jax giving up their top 4 picks in 1 year. Don't see that happening at all.
Yes, they have to get a tackle and a center in the first two rounds. FA has left them no choice.
There are a lot of scouts out there that think that he may have the highest ceiling, given his athleticism and size. What we might be seeing right now is his floor. If Colombo and Judge can tap his talent, this would be in all pro Thai tackle for the next seven years. This all depends if they want to take the chance. As of right now, I am for any of these guys being the first pick for the Giants, preferably with a trade down.

I really like this draft!!
Any start with Simmons as the 1st pick is the smartest start we can have. Gettleman and Judge will find their value in rounds 2-7. We cannot fix this team with this draft so we need the best possible player to build around.
But there is only one real flaw. With all those resources you have to get an OC in the premium rounds. Insane not too. We don't have a starter at the position and what's left on the market isn't impressive at all.
Sorry but Cabral in Round 6 ain't cutting it.
Nice job. Reflects the Patriots philosophy of leveraging your picks to fix your roster.
We don't need a superstar -- just an above average LT, which I believe is true of Thomas.
