We will use this as a discussion thread to keep the picks thread uncluttered. These threads will be used for the duration of the draft.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two-hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm timeframe. If the two hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (i.e. Kansas City won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers who have expressed an interest to fill the vacancy.
Please utilize the
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet . The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-6) by team and GM with a fairly comprehensive list of prospects based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible… Good luck!
Amen. As Matt can attest to, when I sent him a 3 player list for Pick 60 (since we were through pick 57 at the time), Madubuike was #2 on my list behind Dobbins (#3 is still on the board)

That is great value there imo.

I considered Madubuike as well with my 2nd round pick. Just felt Wilson filled a more pressing need which tipped the scales in his favor. Still, Madubuike would have been a nice selection there.
Thanks yeah I think he'll be a really solid starter for a while. Probably not a great fit with NYG with the addition of Martinez, but someone will be happy.
Noah Igbin blah blah blah... Noah is raw switch from WR to CB only two years ago but I love his physicality and his ability to play special teams. There were a slew of CBs I had rated close, but Noah I think has the most upside and potential and I am gambling he will grow into a starting CB with a fall back of at least being a very good ST player.
Cam Akers... what could have, should have been. He is very talented and just got stuck playing for a mess of a team. Florida State has shockingly bad blocking for a team with so much talent. Now he needs to hold the ball better but I think there is huge talent here waiting to blow up. The Raiders took Jacobs last year but we need more depth and Jacobs struggled some with injuries.
Agreed. Starting to plan for my next two picks and he did make short list
My first 3 picks all on the defensive side of ball which needs upgrading.

Another name off short list

Ok so a name that a lot of people are probably surprised I passed
On considering Go Bears! I love Ashtyn and this is a great pick, however I question whether he can stay healthy in the NFL. Since the Raiders don’t really need Safety I passed. So talented but he gets dinged up or hurt and sometimes playing hurt Hawkins would some times out play him. If he can stay healthy this is a huge steal!
Second is a 3rd QB in Jalen Hurts... all this guy has done is win and perform at a high level at two of the top colleges in football. I have him as the 4th best QB in the draft and think he is better than Love who many have as a first rounder. His release is to slow which I hate but I think it could be correctable. He is more grinder on the ground than say Lamar Jackson who is sudden, but he is a leader and I think he can play in the NFL. Maybe not star but a top 15-20 starter which is pretty good.
His second half of 2019 was the light coming on for a player with a lot of talent and this dog will hunt...your QB.

Anae was on my short list. He has been my top edge guy for awhile now. Great pick!
I was hoping Noah Igbinoghene would slip to me. Cleaner prospect. Got sniped. Had to pivot
Makes me feel good lol
I like Bryant's size and his ability to catch the ball in tight coverage. Plus being voted a first-team All-American and winning the John Mackey Award as the nation's top tight end makes him my kind of draft pick.
Jennings?

There is one player I know I would be targeting if I were the Giants
Jennings?
Lynn Bowden has Andy’s name all over him! That is my guess... a safety/LB in the 1st, a slot WR/RB in the second and a slot WR/QB in the 3rd
I hope they don’t disappeart!
Good luck with your pick. Thanks for the comments on Davis.
My pick is ready.
