NFT: Yanks talk: Judge’s rib fracture caused

superspynyg : 3/22/2020 9:26 pm
Partially collapsed lung. I did not know this.

Per score.com

No wonder his injury is slow to heal.

That has been out over a week.

The collapsed lung is strange. How could he not know something was wrong, his wind would have been seriously curtailed?
Not sure the lung had anything to do with the slow healing. The fact he kept straining the bone through heavy workouts would keep it from healing. And again, how could he do strenuous workouts and not realize there was something amiss in his breathing?

appears absolutely clueless when dealing with injuries, nothing would surprise me.
I don't know what's more worrisome at this point.

The Yankees medical team being the least bit competent or Aaron Judge's ability to stay healthy.

It was disclosed two days ago, on Friday.

Since it was dropped by Judge to reporters as something that had been going on and is now resolved, no real way to tell how long it took to get diagnosed.

Ha, it was Friday, just looked at Views from 314 ft! Sorry superspy, seemed like a week.

Cannot blame the Yankees med staff. They probably had not seen him since October.
He must be one tough SOB. Stress fracture rib, but keeps working out. Collapsed lung, keeps working out. His pain tolerance must be through the roof. This needs to be monitored because he could be playing through serious injury and not realize it(as we have seen).
