This is supposedly following the "start of free agency."

New York Giants

Round 1 / Pick 4
Jedrick Wills Jr. OL
Alabama

Round 2 / Pick 36
Antoine Winfield Jr. S
Minnesota

Round 3 / Pick 99
Alex Highsmith EDGE
Charlotte

Here are my brief comments:

Jedrick Wills Jr -- I won't comment because I just flat out don't like the pick. I'm a Simmons guy. Full Stop

Antoine Winfield Jr. -- Nice player; can bring the wood; will he stay healthy? Don't want this guy.

Alex Highsmith -- Only saw via YouTube; he gets to where he's got to go. Is he Oshane Ximines Part Deux? Do we need this guy?

would be happy with the first 2 rounds, don't know Highsmith well

would probably rather take Biadasz if he's still available there. Or Bradley Anae. Or a LB like Troy Dye.

Would also consider Ashtyn Davis > Winfield, but I like both and think either would be nice additions to the secondary so don't have a strong opinion on who is better.

good before his injury last year and have a desperate need at tackle, I think they are planning to take a tackle. And I think Simmons is the best player who will be available to us.

Ira -- I'm definitely 100% in the camp that we need OT, not to mention a brand spanking new Center.

My concern is that I don't think we are an OT & Center away from being a competitive team. IMO, with a new Head Coach and coaching staff, we are in Year One of a multi-year build.

Thus, the only move at #4 is to take the best player available, and I'm pretty certain Isaiah Simmons will be there when we pick.

at 4 it's Young / Okudah / Simmons or trade back for an OT in my opinion.

If they draft Wills at 4, it's a remote thrower.

The GIANTS need a Center more than ANYTHING else.

They have to get one early or they won't get a good one either. Any draft that doesn't get them a Center on day two is garbage.

In this case if you bypass an OT in the first Austin Jackson is available! yes please. If we did go OT in round one though I would love to go Tee Higgins who they have dropping until the 3rd? Ummm yes please
