Can Phillips made the QB. He was the break out star of the XFL.
Level of play was evident, but there were a few OT and C that stood out, based on PFF grades. PFF isn’t the end all, be all, but the XFL could be a cheap option to look around at prospects,
Storm Norton: 6-foot 8, 317 pounds, and played at Toledo and then the Detroit Lions for 2 years
Quote:
"Norton was the Wildcats first pick during the XFL draft, and he has proven to be worth it. In a league where many offensive linemen struggled, Norton was a model of consistency. The Giants need offensive line help, and Norton could be just what they need. Not only would Norton likely come with a reasonable price tag, but he is only 25 years old, which means that the best years of his football career are still in front of him. Imagine picking up a free agent tackle who could start or be that sixth man utility lineman for minimum cost. That helps save money for the big names they plan to pursue"

This is def one player I was referring to. Just about all of these XFL players would be low risk, medium reward type options.
Probably sign for league minimum. Throw him in the mix to see what he's got. Could make the team as a backup or at worst, the practice squad. He might surprise. Extremely low risk
He was one of the top defensive players in the XFL. Apparently, he changed his off-field habits and weed regulations have been relaxed under the new CBA.

Yes, everyone needs to forget about the weed problems, they aren't a problem at this point. Sign the guy and at the very least add some legit depth.
TE Donald Parham - Parham led all XFL tight ends with 24 receptions for 307 yards and four td’s. He is a huge TE at 6’8 who would be a nice developmental type. He’s still learning how to block but he can contribute as a receiver especially in the red zone while he works on his blocking.
OL Martez Ivey - He was mentioned last year as a potential day 3 pick for the Giants. Ivey has played both tackle and guard but is better suited inside. He was a 5 star recruit who never lived up to his potential in college due to poor footwork and technique. He did look much better at guard but he might be able to play RT if he improves his mechanics.

He was player of the week I think every week.
We don’t need a QB, we need some WR help though.
Quick writeup:
