I'm looking at the NFL channel lineup. They're playing Super Bowls every night at 6 and 9. I'm trying to create a way for these to become fantasy football relevant and trying to add some element of interest.
We know the outcomes and can easily look up stats so choosing your team or drafting is out of the question. Solution could be a random draw of positions before each game via FaceTime or Zoom. Issue there is that I suppose people could look up the stats but that would only be lame for them.
Thoughts?
Use a random 0-9 number generator for each player with something like:
0-1 = -20% actual stats
2-3 = -10% actual stats
4-5 = actual stats
6-7 = +10% actual stats
8-9 = +20% actual stats
Then there's an element of chance and you can still have an upset that isn't predetermined as soon as you pick the matchups.

I was also thinking that I could take the top three stat producers at each position. Randomly assign those players to each participant right before the game starts.
create a shared document so they can follow who has who...add up the box score after each quarter.
Drafting would be too hard because of the lack of knowledge in my crew....want non fantasy people to play. More of a social thing.
