Best Remaining Free Agents?

HopePhil and Optimistic : 3/23/2020 9:22 pm
I’m still refreshing all day inbetween naps hoping for news regarding a C, OT, FS or Slot Corner. Aside from Clowney, Golden and Logan Ryan I’m not sure who else is still available?

Seems like ages ago since a summary of current rumors was posted.

Thoughts?

Anyone of interest to you on that list?

Jeez if the top 10 include Jamius Winston, Jason Peters and Ndomikun Suh we may very well be done.

Btw, the top 10 included a few WRs and DTs we’re probably not interested in.
I'd look into FS Damarious Randall and C Evan Boehm

for a starting center. I'm surprised that so many are content to hand that position to a rookie.

I would have rather they filled that hole than go into the draft looking for a starter.
well

Worked very well for the saints. I’d be very happy getting one of Hennessy or nick Harris in this years draft. Harris May be able to start sooner. Hennessy I believe needs a year in the weight room. Harris, having played at Washington, faced real good competition and is light years ahead of many prospects in the intellectual department. Add one more team to the center mix in the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to those in link
Mike in NY : 3/24/2020 6:56 am : link
Everson Griffen, DE
Demar Dotson, OT
Tre Boston, S
Tavon Wilson, S

You are now really talking about the 1 year deals in a lot of places
Not the best, but the ones I have my eye on would be
rasbutant : 3/24/2020 8:55 am : link
Everson Griffen - 13-14m avg 2 or 3 yrs
Markus Golden - 7-10m avg 3yrs
Reshad Jones - ?, 2yr
Cordy Glenn - ?, 1-2yr deal
Nickell Robey-Coleman - Slot CB - ? 3yr deal
Clay Matthews - 3m, 1yr deal
Peyton Barber - I still want him. 3m-4m 3-5yr deal
Vonn Bell - 4.5m avg 3yr
Kyle Sloter - less than Colt

If medicals check out - 1yr prove it deals....
Ezekiel Ansah
Daryl Williams
Tyler Eifert
Jason Verrett - Slot CB
Mackensie Alexander Slot CB
Ronald Darby CB

Checking in on, for the right price, just not much of a need at this point....
Xavier Rhodes CB
Prince Amukamara CB
Timmy Jernigan DT
OTC finally added Fackrell

and it shows $15mill left. They will not be doing much more. Need about $7mill for rookies.

They should save $2-4 mill once Williams is signed to a long term contract.

DG said he wanted about $20 mill left for in season contracts and has already gone under $20mill.

Golden is a possibility, but the door is closing fast.

I know that DG has stated the $20m figure for in season contracts. Can you or someone else elaborate on why such a high figure? How many times do you add players that total that figure?

You are allowed to carry over a certain amount of unused cap space so teams like to maximize that if there is nobody out there who will dramatically improve the roster.
