Robby Anderson never really came across as a Joe Douglas guy, and is limited to what he can do on the field. Perriman was really starting to come into his own, last 5 games he played like an top receiver

Lol, Every move the Jets make is terrific in your eyes. You think Anderson is limited? Then you’re really not going to like Perriman who’s only asset is his speed. He has terrible hands and is a bad route runner but hey he wears a Jets jersey now so he’s awesome!
After you disappeared for months again I thought you might actually be a man and admit how wrong you were about Daniel Jones after bad mouthing him and he Giants after he was selected. Instead you came back to a Giants message board to talk about the Jets and rave about any move they make like you did last offseason.
With the likelihood that both the Jets and Giants take an OT in round of the draft I look forward to your inevitable post on how the Jets took the best OL in the draft.

I'm not well versed in the argument you two are in...but Perriman really came on at the end of last year. Was getting open, made contested catches, was making great adjustments to the ball in the air. If a giants WR really didn't get much burn until week 12 and then put on the performance Perriman did...this board would be exceptionally optimistic about the player. It's ok to be honest about that lol.
I like this signing for both the Jets and Perriman (looking to build off last year, maybe parlay into a nice 3-4 year deal next year). I can see Darnold liking him (although, he better...he doesn't have a choice).
If its the $$ that shock you..personally, these days if you're even below average but at the right position and you hit FA..you'll get paid handsomely

Not really. Jones has looked ok. But all of last year was pretty much garbage time. Remains to be seen if he can beat a team other than the Redskins or hold onto a football. He looks like he can be ok. I don't think he'll be bad...
With the state the Giants franchise is in right now I'm going to lay off you guys. These are the darkest of days. I hope you can get rid of Gettleman build up again soon, because I do support you most games

You said that Mason Rudolph was a better prospect. Jones fell 3 td’s short of the NFL rookie record despite only playing 12 games. His numbers were also better than Darnold despite playing 1 less game.
Last year was garbage time? Despite not having his full supporting cast once all year, a poor offensive line and coaching staff he kept the Giants in almost every game. You clearly didn’t watch the Giants much last season. As usual your entire post is riddled with false claims.
It could be worse the Giants roster could be as weak as the Jets. At least the Giants have one of the youngest rosters in football.
Don’t you have anything better to do than troll a Giants message board?

It's really amazing how every move the Jets make is terrific yet they continue to suck every year. Wouldn't you agree?

Your post made me think of Al Davis. While he was still calling the shots he used to draft based mainly on 40 times.

$8M ($6M gtd) isn't really a "flyer". For half that? Sure. But that's a poor signing. At least it's only for 1 year.
I'd much rather have Robby Anderson.
The Jets are paying him $8 million for a 5 game hot streak in a 5 year garbage career. It’s the definition of a bad signing.

The teams he played against had terrible pass defenses. Jacksonville, Indy, Houston, Detroit & Atlanta.
That said, he performed decently. Remains to be seen if that was just a function of the situation or if the light has finally gone on.
It's not a bad gamble for the Jets, it's only a year, and if he works out, he's a great target for Darnold.
Yeah, so did Rueben Randle. Neither guy can be counted on.
