Preferably of the variety you can play over a Zoom or webex while drinking with friends. I know The house party app has a couple built into it but prefer to use a laptop camera.

Thanks in advance
I did the NYC Trivia

that DanMetroMan posted a couple days back: https://nyctrivialeague.com/. That was cool - I find pub trivia always does a more interesting job curating questions than a pre-loaded thing like Trivial Pursuit.

Jackbox games has a lot of different types of party games that can be played online with friends and is available across a lot of platforms for cheap. Doing one tn with friends - hopefully better than another night of netflix.

on the Oculus Quest. I must say it is awesome and pretty real feeling.

Also played this National Geographic Explorer game where I got to sit in a Kayak and row through Antarctica and then climb a ice mountain.

Also got to have a light saber battle with Darth Vader.

Pretty crazy.

a game called Psych! over google hangouts with the family a few times. easy to pick up and fun enough. I'm going to try hosting a Jackbox Party Pack game soon with some friends. Might be tomorrow, we'll see. You just have to screen-share the game into the conference and then everyone connects and you use your phone as a remote. One of the Jackbox games Drawful 2 is actually free on Steam right now.

As far as I know, you need to download the game but it's available for most platforms and none of the games are resource intensive. You could play them on any laptop, tablet, etc with no issue.
